Installation
Step 3: Prepare the Mounting Base
The lamp post has a base designed for mounting. Ensure the surface is stable and level.
Refer to diagram on page 4.Step 4A: Mounting to a Hard Surface (e.g., Concrete)
If mounting to a hard surface like concrete:
- Mark the desired position for the base.
- Drill holes using a drill bit of ⌀6mm ?.
- Insert appropriate wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Position the lamp base over the holes and secure it with screws.
Step 5A: Attaching the Lamp Post to the Base
Insert the bottom of the lamp post into the prepared base (1) and secure it using the provided screws (2).
Refer to diagrams on page 4.Step 4B/5B: Assembling the Lamp Post
If the lamp post comes in multiple sections, assemble them by connecting the parts as shown in the diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure.
Refer to diagrams on page 5.Step 6A: Solar Charging and Orientation
The lamp is solar-powered. Ensure the solar panel at the top is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging.
The diagrams illustrate:
- Battery charging status: From low ? to full ?.
- Light output based on direction: The intensity of the light may vary depending on the direction it is facing relative to the sun's path (N, S, E, W). For best performance, orient the lamp to maximize sun exposure.
Step 6B: Installing into the Ground
If installing directly into soil or soft ground, push the stake at the bottom of the lamp post firmly into the ground until it is stable.
Refer to diagram on page 6.Step 7: Advanced Motion Sensor Modes
The lamp offers different operating modes (A, B, C, X) when the control switch is set to AUTO. These modes customize the light's behavior in response to motion and ambient light conditions.
- Mode A: When motion is detected ?♂️, the light turns ON ?. When no motion is detected, the light turns OFF ? OFF.
- Mode B: When motion is detected ?♂️, the light turns ON ?. When no motion is detected, the light remains dimly lit ? Dim.
- Mode C: When motion is detected ?♂️, the light turns ON ?. When no motion is detected, the light turns OFF ? OFF.
- Mode X: When motion is detected ?♂️, the light turns ON ?. When no motion is detected, the light turns OFF ? OFF.
The diagrams use signal icons ? to represent motion detection and show the corresponding light output for each mode.
Refer to diagrams on page 6.Battery Replacement
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable battery. If performance degrades, the battery may need replacement.
Step 1: Open the Battery Compartment
To access the battery, twist the top cover counter-clockwise (1) and lift it upwards (2).
Refer to diagram on page 7.Step 2: Replace the Battery
