Installation Guide for Item Number 5128688
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
Safety Precautions
- Installation by a licensed electrician is suggested.
- Read and save these instructions for future reference.
- NEVER attempt any electrical work without shutting off the electricity at the main fuse or circuit breaker box and ensuring the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, and at least 1/4" larger than the canopy. Gaps exceeding 3/16" should be corrected.
- Verify the mounting surface can support the lamp's weight.
- Confirm the voltage is 120V. The maximum wattage per bulb is 40W.
- Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent damage.
- Turn off or unplug the lamp and allow bulbs to cool before replacing them.
- Common sense, caution, and care are essential when working with electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
- Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and verify all parts and accessories are present.
- Turn off power: Before starting, ensure electricity is off at the main fuse or circuit breaker and the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
- Unscrew knob nuts (G) from the canopy (E) and remove the mounting plate (C).
- Tube Selection and Wire Routing:
- Choose tubes (H) for the desired hanging height.
- Pass the fixture wires through the chosen tubes (H), swivel joint (F), and canopy (E).
- Ensure all threaded pipes are tightened. Screw the chosen tubes (H) onto the swivel joint (F) and the top of the iron frame (I). Hand tighten until snug.
- Attach the mounting plate (C) to the outlet box using mounting screws (B).
- Make Wire Connections:
Connect wires as shown. Note: The ground wire is bare copper wire. Never connect other wires to ground wires.
Connect ground wires:
- Connect the outlet box ground wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
- Connect the fixture ground wire to the green ground screw.
Connect supply wires:
Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to: Connect White Supply Wire to: Black (*Parallel cord: round & smooth) White (*Parallel cord: square & ridged) Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without tracer Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with tracer Insulated wire (other than green) with copper conductor Insulated wire (other than green) with silver conductor Note on Parallel Wires: When using parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II), the neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire is round or smooth.
Twist wires together using plastic wire connectors until tightly joined. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape, ensuring no wire strands are exposed. Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
- Raise the canopy (E) to the ceiling and secure it by tightening knob nuts (G) onto the pre-assembled screws in the mounting plate (C). The canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling. Adjust screws in the mounting plate if necessary.
- Install Glass Shades:
- Unscrew socket rings (L) from sockets (J).
- Carefully place glass shades (K) onto sockets (J) and secure them with socket rings (L).
- Install bulbs (not included), ensuring not to exceed the maximum recommended wattage per socket.
- Check that everything is installed properly, then turn on the light.
