1.1 Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before operating the device and keep them for future reference.

  • Use only attachments/accessories specified or provided by the manufacturer.
  • Refer to product enclosure for electrical and safety information before installation or operation.
  • Do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
  • Do not impede ventilation by covering openings with items like newspapers or curtains.
  • The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing; do not place liquid-filled objects on it.
  • ⚠️ This mark indicates a risk of electric shock.
  • To prevent injury, securely attach the apparatus to the floor/wall according to installation instructions.
  • ⚠️ Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent types.
  • Do not expose batteries to excessive heat (sunshine, fire, etc.).
  • Excessive sound pressure from earphones/headphones can cause hearing loss. Listen at safe, comfortable volume levels and reduce listening duration at high levels.
  • The mains plug or appliance coupler serves as the disconnect device and must remain readily operable.
  • When not in use or moving, secure the power cord to prevent damage from sharp edges. Ensure the power cord is not damaged before reuse. The absence of a light indication does not mean complete disconnection from mains; pull the plug to disconnect fully.
  • Pay attention to environmental aspects of battery disposal.
  • Do not place naked flame sources (e.g., lighted candles) on the apparatus.
  • Keep candles or other open flames away from this product at all times to prevent fire spread.
  • Equipment with the [Class II] symbol is a double insulated electrical appliance, not requiring a safety connection to electrical earth.

Precautions

Never try to open the device. It is dangerous due to high voltages and electrical hazards. Opening the device voids the warranty. Refer all maintenance or servicing to suitably qualified personnel.

  • Ensure the device is disconnected from the mains supply voltage before connecting/disconnecting cables. Wait a few seconds after switching off before moving or disconnecting equipment.
  • Use only approved extension and compatible wiring suitable for the electrical power consumption. Ensure the electrical power supply matches the voltage on the device's identification plate.
  • ⚠️ Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Disposing of batteries in fire, hot ovens, or crushing/cutting them can cause explosions.
  • Leaving a battery in extremely high temperatures or under extremely low air pressure may result in explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

Operating Environment

  • Do not install in confined spaces like bookcases.
  • Avoid damp, cold areas; protect from overheating.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight.
  • Do not use near dusty areas.
  • Do not place candles near openings to prevent flammable material entry.
