Installation Procedure
Step 1: Prepare Vehicle Roof

- C: Using a tool to prepare or secure a mounting point.
Step 2: Attach Initial Fixpoint Component
Diagram 2: Shows the insertion of Part 54704 (x1) into the vehicle's fixpoint mounting location using a tool.
Step 3: Assemble Foot Pack Housing
Diagram 3: Depicts the assembly of two main plastic housing components of the foot pack, fitting them together.
Step 4: Mount Foot Pack to Roof Bar
Diagram 4: Illustrates attaching the assembled foot pack housing to a roof bar. This involves using four screws (x4) and tightening them to a torque of 8 Nm using the provided tool (x1).
Step 5: Position Foot Pack on Vehicle
Diagram 5: Shows the assembled foot pack being placed onto the vehicle's roof bar system, ready for final attachment.
Detailed Attachment to Fixpoints
The following sub-steps detail the secure attachment of the foot pack to the vehicle's fixpoints:
Sub-step A: Placement & Initial Securing
Diagram A: A foot pack component is positioned over the vehicle's fixpoint. A screw is inserted through the foot pack into the fixpoint.
Sub-step B: Tightening Screw
Diagram B: A tool (?) is used to tighten the screw, securing the foot pack. The torque specification for this step is 4 Nm.
