Fitting Guide
- Remove and disconnect the original head unit.
- Connect the 12-way molex connector of the head unit patch lead (supplied separately) to the interface.
- Connect the other end of the head unit patch lead to the steering wheel control input on the back of the aftermarket head unit. Note: This may be a 3.5mm jack plug or a wire input depending on the head unit brand. Refer to the head unit's installation manual for details. Important: This step must be completed before connecting power to the interface to ensure steering wheel control functionality.
- Connect the 14-way molex connector to the interface.
- Connect the male power/speaker ISO harness to the female power/speaker ISO harness from the aftermarket head unit. For units without an ISO connector, refer to the "Wiring Colour Codes" on Page 2.
- Connect the female vehicle-specific connectors on the harness to the corresponding male vehicle connectors.
- Connect the chime speaker box to the loom using the 4-pin connector and the red/white RCA connectors to the stereo Aux Input.
- Remove the car display connector from the vehicle and plug it into the interface (ensure the dust cover is removed from the interface first).
- Connect the display connector from the loom to the vehicle's display port (the port previously occupied by the car display connector removed in Step 8).
Test the head unit for correct operation.
