BUYER RECOMMENDATIONS
- Unpack the device carefully. Make sure there are no accessories left in the box. Check up the device for damage; if the product was damaged during transportation, address the firm which carried out the delivery; if the product functions incorrectly, address the dealer at once.
- Check up the package contents and availability of the warranty card. Make sure the warranty card has a shop stamp, a legible signature or the seller's stamp and purchase date, and the goods number corresponds to that in the warranty card. Remember: in case of warranty card loss or discrepancy of numbers you forfeit the right for warranty repairs.
- Before installing and using the speaker system, read this Manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
- Shipping and transportation equipment is permitted only in the original container.
- Does not require special conditions for realization.

- The date of manufacture of the product is indicated on the box.
APPLICATION
The SVEN PS-860 party speaker system is designed for operation with PC, notebooks and other mobile devices by means of data transfer via Bluetooth protocol. It can be also used in Internet telephony, during video conferences, in multimedia applications, in interactive games, for speech recognition and foreign language teaching. FM-tuner and the player with USB-flash and microSD cards are included.

Speaker System Description
The top panel of the speaker system features several control buttons:
- [1] Connect an additional speaker: Short press.
- [2] Switch operating modes: Short press. Turn on/off sound signals: Long press.
- [3] Switch track repeat modes: Short press in USB and microSD modes. Reset sound parameters: Long press.
- [4] Bass boost mode.
- [5] Switch to Bluetooth mode: Short press. Forced sound source shutdown: Long press in Bluetooth mode.
Fig. 1 shows the layout of these buttons on the top panel of the speaker.
Panel Controls (Additional Functions)
The speaker system also includes the following panel controls:
- Backlight Control: Switch backlight operating modes (short press), turn backlight on/off (long press).
- Playback/Mute/Search: Pause/play (short press in Bluetooth, USB and microSD modes), mute (short press in FM and AUX modes). Automatic station search (long press in FM mode).
- Power: Turn the device on/off.
- Track Navigation: Previous track (short press in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode), previous station (short press in FM mode). Fast rewind (press and hold in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode). Next track (short press in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode), next station (short press in FM mode). Fast forward (press and hold in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode).
- Volume Control: Volume down, Volume up.
- Microphone Adjustment: Microphone volume and echo level adjustment (short press), microphone priority mode (long press).
- Mute: Mute function.
- Track Repeat & Sound Settings: Track repeat mode switching (short press in USB and microSD modes): Red backlight for sequential playback, Blue backlight for random playback, Green backlight for repeat one track. Sound settings reset: Long press.
- Backlight Mode Switching: Backlight mode switching (short press), backlight on/off (long press).
Remote Control Description
The remote control provides access to various functions:
- Remote [1]: Turn the device on/off.
- Remote [2]: Switch operating modes (short press), turn on/off sound signals (long press).
- Remote [3]: Adjust tone (short press), connect additional speaker (long press).
- Remote [4]: Volume up button.
- Remote [5]: Volume down button.
- Remote [6]: Previous track (short press in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode), previous station (short press in FM mode). Fast rewind (press and hold in Bluetooth, USB and microSD mode).
- Remote [7]: Pause/play (short press in Bluetooth, USB and microSD modes), mute (short press in FM and AUX modes). Automatic station search (long press in FM mode).

Connection Ports
The rear panel of the speaker system includes the following ports:
- [13] Battery charge indicator.
- [14] USB Type C charging connector.
- [15] USB connector for connecting USB flash drive.
- [16] Connector for connecting memory card (microSD).
- [17] 3.5 mm mini jack connector for connecting audio signal (phone, player, etc.).
- [18] Connector for connecting dynamic microphone.
Fig. 2 shows the rear panel ports and the remote control.
Connection Diagram
Fig. 4 illustrates the connection methods:
- Bluetooth Connection: A PC or Mobile device can connect wirelessly to the speaker system.
- Wired Connection: A mini-jack to mini-jack signal cable can connect an audio source to the speaker's AUX input [17].
- Power Connection: The speaker is powered via a USB to USB type-C power cable, connecting to a USB port or charger.
Fig. 4 shows the overall connection setup.
CONNECTION AND OPERATION
Attention! The built-in battery must be charged completely prior to the application.
Speaker system battery charging
- Connect the speaker system to a USB port of a PC or USB charger using the included USB to USB type-C cable. When charging, the indicator [13] shows battery charging progress.
- The battery is used in the speaker system as an integral part of the device. Do not attempt to extract or replace it, as this can result in warranty cancellation or device damage.

OPERATION MODES
Bluetooth mode
- Wireless data transfer via the Bluetooth protocol enables connecting the speaker system to compatible devices. The maximum radius of data transfer is 10 m. Obstacles such as walls or other electronic devices can interfere with signal transfer.
- Turn on the speakers in Bluetooth mode.
- On the signal source (telephone, notebook, smartphone, etc.), select the device search mode with Bluetooth. The message "SVEN PS-860" will be displayed on the screen for connection*.
- When connection is successful, a short beep will be heard**.
* You might have to enter "0000" code to connect some models of devices via Bluetooth.
** If the item has been already registered in the device list of a source, then the second search mode activation is not obligatory. Choose the item name "SVEN PS-860" and the "connect" command on the source.
Radio mode
Turn on the speaker system and press button [2] several times until the radio mode turns on. A long press of button [7] activates auto search mode. After scanning completion, the first scanned radio station will start to operate automatically. Use buttons [9] and [10] to select a desired radio station.
Player mode
Attention! The file system of a USB flash and microSD card carrier is FAT32. Maximum volume is 32 GB.
Insert the USB flash or microSD card into the appropriate slot. If the speaker system is turned on, playback will start automatically. Playback/Pause modes are switched over using button [7]. Tracks can be controlled by buttons [9] (previous track) and [10] (next track).
The use in the wired mode (AUX)
The speaker system can be used as an external device for amplifying any audio source with a 3.5 mm output mini-jack. To do this, connect a cable 3.5 mini-jack to 3.5 mini-jack to the audio output AUX [17].
Connecting an Additional Speaker
For the model “SVEN PS-860”, you can connect an additional speaker (Bluetooth mode only):
- Turn on both speakers (long press button [8] on the remote or [h] on the unit) and select Bluetooth mode.
- On one of the speakers, press button [1] (or [a] on the remote). The speakers will connect with each other.
- Then connect the speaker to the signal source (see speaker connection via Bluetooth).
Note: At the subsequent inclusion of both speakers, they will be connected automatically.
