2 Safety Instructions
Intended Use
This device is intended for use as an electronic lighting effect using LED technology. The device is designed for professional use and is not suitable for household applications. Use the device exclusively as described in this user manual. Any other use, or use under different operating conditions, is considered non-intended and may lead to personal injury or property damage. No liability is assumed for damages resulting from non-intended use.
The device may only be used by persons who have sufficient physical, sensory, and mental capabilities, as well as appropriate knowledge and experience. Other persons may only use the device if they are supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
Safety
GEFAHR! (DANGER!) Dangers for Children
Ensure that plastic covers, packaging, etc., are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and small children. Suffocation hazard! Ensure that children do not detach small parts from the device (e.g., control knobs, etc.). They could swallow the parts and choke!
Do not let children use electrical appliances unsupervised.
GEFAHR! (DANGER!) Electric Shock from High Voltages Inside the Device
There are parts inside the device that are under high electrical voltage. Never remove covers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Do not use the device if covers, protective devices, or optical components are missing or damaged.
WARNUNG! (WARNING!) Eye Injuries from High Light Intensity
Never look directly into the light source.
WARNUNG! (WARNING!) Risk of Epileptic Seizures
Light flashes (strobe effects) can trigger epileptic seizures in sensitive individuals. Sensitive individuals should avoid looking at flashing light.
HINWEIS! (CAUTION!) Fire Hazard
Never cover the device or the ventilation slots. Do not mount the device directly next to a heat source. Keep the device away from open fire.
HINWEIS! (CAUTION!) Operating Conditions
The device is designed for indoor use. To avoid damage, never expose the device to liquids or moisture. Avoid direct sunlight, heavy dirt, and strong vibrations.
HINWEIS! (CAUTION!) External Power Supply
The device is powered by an external power supply. Before connecting the external power supply, check if the voltage specification matches your local power supply network and if the mains socket is protected by a residual-current device (RCD/FI). Non-compliance can lead to damage to the device and injury to the user. If thunderstorms are approaching or if you do not intend to use the device for a longer period, disconnect the external power supply from the mains to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.

4 Installation
Unpack the device and check it carefully for damage before using it. Keep the packaging. To optimally protect the device from vibrations, dust, and moisture during transport and storage, use the original packaging or your own specially suitable transport or storage packaging.
WARNING! Risk of Injury from Falling
Ensure that the mounting complies with the norms and regulations in your country. Always secure the device with a secondary attachment, for example, a safety cable or a safety chain.
CAUTION! Overheating Hazard
Always ensure adequate ventilation. The ambient temperature must always be below 40°C.
CAUTION! Use of Tripods
When mounting the device on a tripod, ensure a stable stand and that the weight of the device does not exceed the tripod's permissible load capacity.
CAUTION! Possible Interference with Data Transmission
To ensure interference-free operation, use special DMX cables and not standard microphone cables. Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as mixers or amplifiers.
Mounting Options
You can install the device hanging or standing. The mounting during use must always be on a firm surface or an approved support. Use the provided openings on the bracket for mounting. Always work from a stable platform when installing, moving, or performing maintenance on the device. The area below the device must be cordoned off. The safety cable must be routed through the safety cable eyelet.
Please note that this device must not be connected to a dimmer.
5 Connections and Controls
The device is shown with numbered points:

- 4 [MIC]: Integrated microphone for sound-controlled operation.
- 5 [SENSITIVITY]: Control for adjusting the sensitivity of the integrated microphone.
- 6 [12 V =]: Power connector for the supplied 12-V power supply.
6 Operation
The device functions are controlled exclusively via the supplied remote control. The device is ready for operation as soon as the supplied 12-V power supply is plugged into the device and simultaneously connected to a grounded mains socket.
To use the remote control, point its infrared diode at the infrared sensor on the device and press the desired buttons.

8 Cleaning
Optical Lenses
Clean the externally accessible optical lenses regularly to optimize light output. The frequency of cleaning depends on the operating environment: humid, smoky, or particularly dirty environments can cause greater accumulation of dirt on the device's optics.
- Clean with a soft cloth and our Luminescence and lens cleaner (Art. No. 280122).
- Always dry the parts thoroughly.
Ventilation Grilles
The device's ventilation grilles must be cleaned regularly from impurities such as dust, etc. Switch off the device before cleaning and disconnect mains-powered devices from the power supply. Use a lint-free, damp cloth for cleaning. Never use alcohol or solvents for cleaning!
9 Environmental Protection
Dispose of Packaging Material
Environmentally friendly materials were chosen for the packaging, which can be fed into normal recycling. Ensure that plastic covers, packaging, etc., are disposed of properly. Do not simply throw these materials away; ensure they are recycled. Observe the instructions and markings on the packaging.
Battery Disposal
Batteries must not be thrown away or burned; they must be disposed of as special waste according to local regulations. Use the available collection points for this purpose.
Dispose of Your Old Equipment
This product complies with the European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive) in its currently valid version. Do not dispose of your old equipment with normal household waste. Dispose of the product through an approved disposal company or your municipal disposal facility. Observe the regulations applicable in your country. If in doubt, contact your disposal facility.
