Application
The Omni IIe is an ideal and economical choice for homes and small businesses. It provides enhanced comfort, safety, convenience, and energy savings by coordinating audio, lighting, heating and air, security, scenes, and messaging based on activity and schedules. Integration with HomeSeer HomeTroller allows for Amazon Alexa voice control of lighting, temperature, and macros.
Features and Benefits
Omni IIe controllers are UL Listed, CP-01 compliant security and fire systems for residential and commercial installations. They detect intrusion, smoke, fire, carbon monoxide, water, vehicles, motion, and other hazards using wired or wireless sensors.
Security zones are fully configurable and expandable. User code validity can be set by time and authority (e.g., specific codes for staff only during certain hours). The Omni IIe supervises zones, battery, and bell circuits, and permits true partitioning for security and control.
The system includes a built-in digital communicator for central station use and can dial up to 8 additional phone numbers for voice notification.
Lighting
Omni IIe supports Leviton Lighting Control products, including dimmers, switches, remote controls, and plug-in modules. It enables sophisticated lighting control with scenes, fades, and dimming levels.
The controller features an astronomical clock that automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, providing accurate dusk-to-dawn lighting control. It supports Leviton Lighting Control products like HLC, Omni-Bus, Vizia RF + Z-Wave, and ZigBee. Compatibility with other third-party lighting protocols (e.g., Z-Wave™, ZigBee™, ALC hardwire, RF, hardwired) is also available via Connectivity Partners.
Energy Management
When paired with Leviton's Omnistat2 wired or wireless communicating thermostats, the Omni IIe system allows control of home temperatures via schedule and activity (e.g., home, asleep, away, room occupancy, outdoor temperature). Leviton temperature and humidity sensors facilitate temperature-based programming of events, such as controlling temperatures in attics, garages, or greenhouses. ZigBee devices enable wireless control of water heaters, pumps, fountains, and more.
Entertainment
The OmniPro II connects to Leviton's BitWise AV control systems, allowing automation commands based on system changes. It can activate A/V equipment, lower projection screens, close window coverings, adjust temperature, dim lights, and lock doors. Custom interfaces can be created using BitWise Project Editor.
Surveillance
Surveillance cameras can be added to Omni IIe systems for viewing or recording areas like nurseries, pool areas, or front doors.
Interface Options
Each Omni IIe installation requires at least one Omni Console (part number 33A00-1) or Omni Console with Built-in Speaker/Microphone (part number 33A00-4).
Additional interface options, such as the OmniTouch Touchscreen, can be added. The Omni IIe offers built-in telephone access with a voice menu for remote access and alerts. A built-in modem allows remote programming and status review via the internet through the Ethernet port.
Users can choose from Leviton's software options for internet access and control via PC, smartphone, tablet, or e-reader.
Accessories
Leviton offers a wide range of accessories for Home & Lighting Control, Energy Management, Whole Home Audio, and Interface Options. These can be added during initial installation or later. This includes wireless supervised security products that replace wired sensors, wired motion and glassbreak detectors, and a four-button keyfob/panic alert pendant.
An optional Two-Way Voice Module allows the Omni IIe to make announcements via connected speakers, enabling features like daily reminders (e.g., "Wednesday night at 8:00 pm, tonight is trash night").
