My Leviton App Guide for Decora Smart Wi-Fi
The My Leviton app provides control over your smart home devices. The interface displays various rooms and devices with their current status, such as lights being on or off, or fan speeds.
Create a My Leviton Residence
Download the My Leviton App to your iOS or Android device and create your account to begin the set up of your smart home.
Name your Residence
In the app, you will be prompted to enter a name for your residence. This helps organize your smart home setup.
Enable Location or enter your zip code
The app requires location services or a zip code to set schedules based on sunrise and sunset times. This feature can be enabled or disabled later in settings.
Adding a Decora Smart Device
Add your Decora Smart device by selecting from the menu or scanning the product barcode on the package. Repeat this process for all installed Decora Smart Wi-Fi products. On the main screen, press the '+' button. Then, choose the type of device you are setting up from the menu. If multiple device types are available, select the one you are using. Alternatively, you can scan the barcode on the Decora Smart Wi-Fi device package.Add device and follow prompts in App
Create a Schedule
Creating a schedule allows you to set your lights, fans, and other small appliances to automatically turn on and off at specific times. You can set up one or multiple schedules that activate one or more Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices simultaneously. If a schedule is turned ON, it will run automatically until it is turned OFF. Step 1: Select the devices and their settings for when the schedule is run. This includes setting the device to turn on, off, or to a specific level at the scheduled time. Step 2: Set a start time by choosing Sunrise, Sunset, or a specific time. Step 3: Optionally, set an end time by choosing Sunrise, Sunset, or a specific time, and select the day or days of the week for the schedule to run. Step 4: Create a name for the schedule. Command Multiple Devices with Activities
Creating an activity allows you to set your lights, fans, and other small appliances to automatically activate upon command. You can set up one or multiple activities that include one or more Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices at a time. The activity will only run if the assigned icon is pressed or by voice command using a voice assistant.
Setting up an Activity
Step 1: Select one or more devices to include in the activity and set their desired state (on, off, or specific level).
Step 2: Choose an icon that best illustrates the activity from a provided selection.
Step 3: Create a name for the activity.
Step 4: The activity overview screen displays created activities such as 'Bed Time', 'All On', 'Leaving', and 'Coming Home'.
Advanced Decora Smart Wi-Fi Device Settings
Advanced settings in the My Leviton App allow you to access features of each device, such as LED bulb behavior, bulb type, auto-off, fade rates, and min/max light level. To access advanced dimmer controls, press “Device Settings” and then “Advanced Settings”. From the Advanced Settings menu, you can customize features like Status LED Behavior, Auto Shutoff, Bulb Type, and Fade On/Off Rates.Customize Your Lighting Experience
Firmware Updates and Tech Support
Occasionally, firmware updates are needed for your Decora Smart Wi-Fi devices to enhance their functionality. The app also provides access to technical assistance.
Updates and Support
On the app's main screen, firmware updates are displayed at the top. Click the update icon to update firmware for individual devices or select “Update All” to update all connected devices.
Use the hamburger menu `[menu icon]` to access the in-app support tool. Connect with Leviton for technical assistance via the help desk, by speaking with support, or by submitting feedback.
My Leviton App Guide for the Leviton Load Center Smart Breakers
This section details the use of the My Leviton app with Leviton Load Center Smart Breakers.
Leviton Load Center Smart Breakers – Part 1
Log in to your My Leviton account. If you do not have an account, download the My Leviton app from the App Store or Google Play store and follow the steps to create one.
Adding a Load Center: Select the '+' sign in the top right to 'Add a Device' and choose 'Leviton Load Center' to add it to your residence. The app will guide you through the configuration process, allowing you to assign custom names to your circuit breakers.
Part 2 - Home Screen
The main screen for your Load Center provides an overview of current expenditures at a glance, including cost and consumption data. It also offers access to various Load Center details and settings.
Part 3 - Energy Usage
The Consumption screen displays total energy consumption and costs. You can toggle between kWh energy consumption in a month-by-month chart or compare monthly total tabulations.
Part 4 - Breaker Details
Tap on the Breakers icon to view the panel layout and access breaker settings.
Tapping on a specific breaker opens a detailed screen where you can view breaker information, rename it, set its position, and edit notification settings.
Identify Breaker: This function makes the breaker's LED blink for easy identification. A 'Trip Breaker' function requires manual reset.
Notifications: Enabling notifications allows you to set conditions for receiving alerts, such as thresholds for current draw.
Part 5 - General Settings
The General Settings tab allows you to view basic settings and system status, including Panel Name, Signal Strength, and Firmware Version.
Part 6 - Notifications
Under a Load Center's settings, the Notifications tab allows you to set the conditions for receiving notifications, such as for high voltage, low voltage, or high current.
