A Cherub WST-905Li clip-on tuner is shown. It features a black rectangular LCD screen displaying tuning information with colored diamond indicators. The tuner is attached to a flexible gooseneck and a clip mechanism. A diagram shows the tuner with labels for: LCD Display, Axis, Clip, Power/M button, A4/b button, DISP button, and USB-C port.
Operation Guide
Power/M button
- Long press this button to power on/off the tuner.
- Short press this button to switch between the 5 built-in tuning modes: C (Chromatic) → GSTD (Guitar standard) → GCPS (Guitar compensation) → B (Bass) → U (Ukulele).
A4/b button
- Press this button to set the reference pitch (430Hz – 450Hz) in Chromatic mode.
- Press this button to set the flat tuning in other modes: ♭, ♭♭.
DISP button
- Press this button to switch in between the 4 built-in display modes.
Display Modes
The tuner offers four display modes to visualize tuning status:
Display Mode 1:
- The pitch is flat (arrows flash towards note name).
- In tune.
- The pitch is sharp (arrows flash towards the other way).
Display Mode 2:
- The pitch is flat (arrows flash towards note name).
- In tune.
- The pitch is sharp (arrows flash towards the other way).
Display Mode 3:
- The pitch is flat.
- In tune.
- The pitch is sharp.
Display Mode 4:
- The pitch is flat.
- In tune.
- The pitch is sharp.
Guitar Compensation Tuning
We got inspired from James Taylor of compensation tuning, so we developed guitar compensation tuning mode in Cherub wST-905Li.
Here is the compensation tuning method:

Charging the Device
When the battery level is low, the battery level indicator displays " ". To charge WST-905Li, connect a USB adapter (not included) to the USB port using the included power cable. An illustration shows the Cherub WST-905Li tuner connected via a USB-C cable to a power source (adapter not included).
NOTICE
- To extend the battery life, please ensure the battery is fully charged before using it for the first time.
- Discharge and charge the battery completely once every three months to keep it in healthy condition.
- Make sure to disconnect the product when it's fully charged.
Reset
When the product crashes, please use a paper clip to press the reset button on the back of the product to reset. A back view of the Cherub WST-905Li tuner is shown, highlighting the small reset button accessible with a paper clip.

- Do NOT use the product in high temperature, or high humidity, or subzero environments.
- Do NOT use the product in direct sunlight.
- Please do NOT disassemble the product by yourself.
