Operation Guide
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the POWER/MODE button for 2 seconds. The tuner will activate to its last setting or default to Chromatic mode on first use.
- A4 Frequency Adjustment: Briefly press the A4/FLAT button to set the A4 reference tone frequency between 430Hz and 450Hz (BD RC models only).
- Flat Tuning Setup: Press and hold the A4/FLAT button for 2 seconds to enable flat tuning (bbb). This function is available in Guitar and Bass modes on BD RC models.
- Mode Selection: Briefly press the POWER/MODE button to cycle through the available tuning modes: C (Chromatic), G (Guitar), B (Bass), V (Violin), U-C (Ukulele C), U-D (Ukulele D).
- Tuning Your Instrument: Play a single note on your instrument. The display will show the closest note name and string number. Adjust your instrument's tuning until the correct note is displayed on the LCD.
Battery Installation and Replacement
When the LCD display becomes dim, it is time to replace the battery. Follow these steps:
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Ensure correct battery polarity: insert the 3V CR2032 lithium battery with the positive terminal (➕) facing up and the negative terminal (➖) facing down.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- For long-term storage, it is recommended to remove the battery.
