Introduction
If your laptop is experiencing issues with battery life, or the battery needs replacement, this guide provides the necessary steps to replace the faulty unit.
Tools Required
- Phillips #0 Screwdriver (1)
- Heavy-Duty Spudger (1)
Parts Required
- Asus Li-Polymer Battery Pack C41-N541 (4520mAh, 66Wh)

Step-by-Step Replacement Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Laptop and Remove Back Panel Screws

⚠️ Ensure the laptop is powered down completely before proceeding.
Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the ten 3mm Phillips head screws securing the base cover of the laptop.
Step 2: Pry Open the Rear Cover

Use the spudger to carefully pry open the rear cover, starting at either hinge.
Step 3: Remove the Rear Cover

Grab the cover with your fingers and gently lift it away from the laptop's internal board. Be cautious not to break any plastic tabs on the cover during removal.
Step 4: Locate and Unscrew the Battery

The battery is secured by five silver 4mm Phillips #0 screws. Remove these screws to free the battery.
Step 5: Disconnect the Battery Power Cable

Using the spudger, carefully disconnect the power cable that connects the battery to the rest of the laptop's components.
Step 6: Remove the Battery

Once all securing screws and the power cable are removed, carefully lift the battery out of the laptop.
Reassembly
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

- ⚠️ General Caution: Must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not dispose of in fire or directly short circuit. Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble. Do not expose to water or drop. Do not use with equipment other than that specified.
- ⚠️ Chinese: Used batteries must be recycled or disposed of according to waste management regulations. Do not short circuit or dispose of in fire. Do not disassemble or reassemble yourself. If any improper operation occurs (e.g., collision, drop), send for inspection immediately. Do not place battery in environments above 60°C. Use only original Asus adapters.
