Quick Start Guide
Control Box Overview
The control box features a digital display showing the current mode, the temperature setpoint, and a consumption indicator.
Display Information:
- AUTO: Current operating mode.
- 20.0°C: Current temperature setpoint.
- Maintien en température: Indicates temperature maintenance status.
The display allows you to:
- Increase or decrease the temperature using the / buttons without needing to validate.
- Navigate through menus using the / buttons.
Control Buttons:
- : Confirm selection, switch the device on or off (long press).
- / : Lock or unlock controls (long press the central button).
After a short period of inactivity, the display backlight will turn off, showing only the current temperature.
1. Powering Up and Navigating the Controller
- When turning on the power for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to choose your language and initial settings.
- To change the temperature, use the / buttons.
- To change the time, navigate to the main menu and select 'Settings'.
- Within 'Settings', you can access options such as 'Clock', 'Date', 'Time', and 'Summer/Winter' adjustments.
- To exit any menu, navigate to the icon using the arrow buttons and confirm.
- To lock the controls, long press the central button and select the lock icon . Repeat this operation to unlock.
2. Operating Modes
Choose between two primary operating modes:
- BASIC mode: Allows only direct temperature adjustment.
- PROG mode: Enables manual programming of heating schedules and functions.
3. Activating the Open Window Detector
- To activate the open window detector, first ensure the appliance is in PROG mode.
- Navigate to the 'Open Window' option and select to activate or deactivate the feature.
Note: Activating the open window detector is not recommended for hallways or rooms that have an external door, as it may lead to unintended shutdowns.
4. Programming the Appliance
The programming feature allows you to tailor the room temperature to your daily routine, distinguishing between periods of presence (COMFORT mode) and absence (ECO mode).
- COMFORT MODE: Sets a pleasant ambient temperature, preset at 19°C, for when the room is occupied.
- ECO MODE: Automatically lowers the room temperature during night-time or prolonged absences (between 2 and 24 hours). The temperature is reduced by 3.5°C compared to the COMFORT mode temperature.
Accessing the Programme Menu:
- Navigate to 'Mode' and select 'Programme' using the control buttons.
Setting Daily Programming:
- Select the 'Programme' option. You can set specific schedules for different days or groups of days (e.g., 'Mon...Sun', 'Mon Fri', 'Tues Sat', 'Weds Sun').
- An example schedule for Monday shows two heating periods: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
- You can program up to 3 distinct "Comfort" temperature ranges for each day. Outside these programmed ranges, the device automatically switches to the ECO mode temperature.
Modifying the Schedule:
- Select the desired day, then choose 'Adjust the times' and confirm your changes.
Copying Programming to Other Days:
- Select the days you wish to copy the schedule to (e.g., 'Monday', 'Tues Fri', 'Weds Sat', 'Thurs Sun').
- Confirm your selection and return to the previous menu using the button.
