Please read this Disclaimer & Warning and Safety Guidelines carefully before using the product. This product is not recommended for users under 3 years old. By using this product, you agree to this disclaimer and take full responsibility for your conduct and any damage caused. Use the product only for its intended purpose and in accordance with local regulations and Ruko's policies. Ruko is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or legal disputes arising from violation of safety instructions or misuse.
1.3 Attention
- Suitable for users aged 3 and above.
- Keep the product away from fire, heat, and moisture. Keep it dry and clean.
- Handle the product with care; do not apply excessive force.
- Use the robot on a flat surface.
- Maintain a safe distance from the robot while it is operating.
- Do not hold the robot's joints while it is operating to avoid pinching fingers or damaging the robot.
- Use the provided original charging cable (charger not included).
- Do not disassemble the robot's joints yourself; contact the service team if needed.
- If the robot behaves abnormally, cut off power to prevent damage.
- Do not place the robot at elevated positions or near edges to prevent falling.
- The company is not liable for damage from inappropriate use. For longevity, do not use the robot for longer than one hour per session.
- ⚠️ Please cut the power off, stop using the robot, and contact the after-sales service team if: the robot emits smoke or a scorched smell, water or foreign matter enters the robot, or the robot is damaged.
2 Battery Guidelines
- It is prohibited to use computer USB, simple USB, or inferior charging cables for charging.

- It is forbidden to overcharge the battery. Remove the charging cable promptly after full charge to avoid damage. Charging time is approximately 3 hours.

3 Daily Maintenance
- Do not allow the robot and transmitter to touch liquid, or expose them to sun-exposure, severe squeezing, or high altitude drops.

- Do not leave batteries in the transmitter when not in use, as they will discharge and lose power.
- Detach the USB charger when the battery is fully charged.
- Fully charge the battery at least once every month to maintain battery health.
- DO NOT disassemble or pierce batteries, as they may leak, catch fire, or explode.
- DO NOT touch electrolytes from damaged batteries, as they can injure skin or eyes.
- Discharge the robot battery to 50% or lower during transport.
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
4 Environment Guidelines
- Do not allow the robot and transmitter to touch any kind of liquid, or expose them to sun exposure, severe squeezing, or drops from high altitude.

- Violent striking or trampling is strictly prohibited. Repeated impacts may damage the robot and cause paint to peel off.

5 Preparation Before Play
- Ensure the robot's power is turned on before playing.
- Turn on the robot, then turn on the remote controller and pair it with the robot.
- Connect the robot's Bluetooth to your phone and ensure the Carle App is connected to the Bluetooth named "JT_xxxx". Refer to the Bluetooth Guidelines.
- Remember to start the motors before playing. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed steps.
6 Bluetooth Guidelines
- Open Bluetooth settings and connect your phone to "JT_Speaker". The robot will then function as a Bluetooth speaker.

- Open the Carle App and connect with the robot's Bluetooth "JT_xxxx". Wait approximately 2-10 seconds to control the Carle robot via the app.

- If you are still not connected to Bluetooth, check your phone's Bluetooth settings.

7 Problems You May Encounter
7.1 Transmitter cannot control the robot
- Check if the remote control has power.
- Cannot be used under strong light.
- Aim the remote control at the robot's head for control.
- Control is effective at a distance of 3-5 meters without obstructions.
7.2 Voice can not be recognized
- Voice commands did not follow instructions.
- Voice pronunciation is not standard or speaking speed is too fast.
- The robot is moving (it needs to be still to recognize voice commands).
- Noisy environment.
7.3 Can not connect to Carle App
- Bluetooth is not turned on; the Carle App requires Bluetooth connection, not WiFi.
- Connected to the wrong Bluetooth: "JT_Speaker" (Bluetooth Playback) instead of "JT_xxxx" (App control).
- Need to wake up and reconnect the Carle App.

2 Cautions And Advice
Waste Disposal
The crossed-out dustbin symbol (?️) indicates that batteries, rechargeable batteries, button cells, and battery packs must not be disposed of in household waste. Batteries are harmful to health and the environment. Please help protect the environment. If the toy is out of use, use a hammer to break the product to retrieve batteries or unscrew the battery door for replaceable battery-operated toys, then dispose of batteries according to local recycling or disposal laws.
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
When this appliance is out of use, remove all batteries and dispose of them separately. Bring electrical appliances to local collecting points for waste electrical and electronic equipment. Other components can be disposed of in domestic refuse.
2.1 Care and Maintenance
- Always remove batteries from the transmitter when it is not being used for a long period.
- To clean, wipe the toy gently with a clean cloth.
- Keep the toy away from direct heat.
- Do not submerge the toy in water, as this can damage the robot.
2.2 Special Notes to Adults
- Before first use, read the user information and review it with your child.
- This toy is intended for use in domestic areas (house and garden) only.
- Assembly, battery changes, and spare parts replacement should be performed under adult supervision.
- Parental guidance is recommended when installing or replacing batteries.
- Do not change or modify the toy.
2.3 Battery Warnings
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries must be removed before charging (Transmitter only).
- Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries (Transmitter only).
- Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries must be removed from the toy and recycled (Transmitter only).
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Do not mix old and new batteries (Transmitter only).
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries (Transmitter only).
2.4 Pay Attention to Safety Use
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire or heat.
- Do not use or leave batteries near a heat source like fire or heaters.
- Do not strike or throw batteries against hard surfaces.
- Do not immerse batteries in water; keep them in a cool, dry environment.
- When recharging, use only the battery charger specifically designed for this purpose.
- Do not over-discharge the battery.
- Do not connect the battery to an electrical outlet.
- Do not directly solder or pierce batteries with nails or sharp objects.
- Do not transport or store batteries with metal objects like necklaces or hairpins.
- Do not disassemble or alter batteries.
- The battery inside the toy cannot be replaced by the user.
- Charge the battery every 6 months.
Notes:
- The toy may malfunction under electrostatic discharge interference. If the toy does not respond, reset it.
- Use new alkaline batteries for best performance.
- This toy must only be used with the recommended charger.
3 Battery Safety
3.1 Batteries Requirements (Transmitter)
- Power supply:
- Characteristics: DC 3V
- Quality and Type: 2×1.5V "AA"/LR6 (not included)
3.2 Battery Guidelines
- Precautions for charging: Use 5V/2A charging plugs. Fast charging plugs exceeding 5V/2A are prohibited.

4 Charging Introductions
4.1 In The Transmitter
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment lid of the controller.
- Insert 2×1.5V AA batteries into the battery compartment.
- Replace the lid and tighten it with a screwdriver.
- Switch on the ON/OFF button on the back of the transmitter before use.

4.2 In The Robot
- The robot's battery is located in the back. Use the provided USB charging cable to connect the robot to a USB port (power bank, mobile charger, car charger, or computer).
- Switch off the robot before charging.
- A light on the robot will turn on during charging and turn off when fully charged.
- Charging time is approximately 3 hours; playing time is approximately 3 hours.

5 Remote Controls And Robot

Turn ON/OFF
Press the ON/OFF button on the back of the robot to start. The robot will introduce itself with movements and sounds.
The robot should remain on the floor during operation.

Reset Button
The reset button can be used to suspend the program or wake up the robot from standby mode.

Record Button
Long press the record button to start recording after a "beep". Short press to end. The maximum recording time is 15 seconds. Press the record button again to play the recorded message.

Touch Sensitive
When you touch the robot's head, it will play five different sound effects.

Bluetooth Playback
Open Bluetooth settings and connect your phone to "JT_Speaker". The robot will then function as a Bluetooth speaker.

6 Remote Control Function
6.1 Basic Function
The remote control allows for various movements and actions:
- Movement: Slide Forward, Slide Backward, Slide Left, Slide Right, Speed (Slow/Fast), Turn Left, Turn Right, Walk Forward, Walk Backward, Twist Waist.
- Arm/Shoulder Control: Left/Right Hand Up/Down, Left/Right Shoulder Up/Down, Left/Right Arm Up/Down.
- Other Functions: Turn Volume Down/Up, Stop.
Music
Press the "? Music" button, and the robot will perform a dance with music. There are 8 dances available.
Gymnastics
Press the "? Gymnastics" button, and the robot will move around while making sounds. There are two different gymnastics routines. Press the "Gymnastics" button again to switch between them.
Action Programming
Press the "⚙️ Action Programming" button until you hear a "beep". Up to 50 functions can be programmed, including movements, arm/shoulder actions, music, gymnastics, and stories. Press the "Action Programming" button again to perform programmed functions.
If programming is not enough for 50 actions, wait 5 seconds or press the "Actions Programming" button to enter directly.
⚠️ Three buttons in the middle of the remote control are not included in the programming operation.
Song
Press the "? Song" button, and the robot will sing a song while moving.
Story
Press the "?️ Story" button, and the robot will tell a story. There are four stories in total.

7 Smart Dialogue
When the robot is in standby mode, the Voice Dialogue function is automatically enabled. Voice commands are available only in standby mode. The robot responds to the following commands:

8 Play With Carle App
8.1 Download
- Scan the applicable QR code for your operating system to download and install the application.

- The Carle App is compatible with Android 4.3 or iOS 8.0 and up.
8.2 Basic Icons
- SETTING: Open Carle App, click the Settings button at the top right to select languages.
- CONNECT: Turn on your phone's Bluetooth, then turn on the robot. Click CONNECT and connect to the Bluetooth device named "JT_xxxx". Bluetooth Playback cannot be used when this Bluetooth is connected.
- LAUNCH: Click LAUNCH for three modes: CONTROL, PROGRAM, and CONTENT. Use your mobile phone as a controller.
- HELP: Provides a quick guide for main functions.

8.3 Control
G-Sensor Mode
Steer the robot by tilting your device. The robot performs corresponding actions based on the tilt direction.

Control the robot using on-screen buttons for movements and actions.

PROGRAM
Choose from 58 actions. Actions in blue background perform one by one; actions in red background perform simultaneously. Select actions on the right and insert new ones on the left.
Press and hold a selected action on the right to delete it.
Left/right arrows switch action programming categories: Left hand, Right hand, Move, Expression, Music.
Click "PREVIEW" to preview selected actions.

Safety Precautions With Batteries
- The battery cannot be removed or replaced.
- It is recommended to use a 5V/2A rated charger; other chargers may shorten the battery lifespan.
- Regularly check the charger wire, plug, shell, and other parts for damage. Stop using if damage is found.
- Avoid short circuits and do not disassemble or throw batteries into fire.
- This product contains electronic components; do not place it near humid, high-temperature environments or flammable objects.
- Exhausted batteries should be taken out of the toy.
- When not using the machine for a long time, turn off the power switch after the battery is fully charged.

- This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old.
- The battery must be charged under adult supervision.

9 Common Issue & Solutions
Problem Cause | Solution |
