Getting Started

  1. Remove all packaging and plug the device into power.
  2. Place the product on a flat and stable surface.

Note: To ensure the accuracy of temperature and humidity readings, avoid touching the sensor hole while moving the product.

Downloading Govee Home App

To download the Govee Home App, search for “Govee” in the Apple App Store® (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Pairing with Govee Home App

  1. Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth.
  2. Open the Govee Home App, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner, and search for "H5106."
  3. Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses frequently asked questions. For persistent issues, contact customer support.

Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
  1. Plug into power and check if the device works properly.
  2. Do not skip Wi-Fi connection.
  3. Ensure the device is connected to a 2.4GHz network (5GHz is not supported).
  4. Verify the Wi-Fi password is correct and the network is working.
  5. Try connecting with another smartphone.
  6. Shorten the distance between the device and the router to less than 50 feet and try connecting again.
Abnormal time display.
  1. Ensure the device is connected to Wi-Fi. If not, connect it and ensure Wi-Fi works properly.
  2. Open the Govee Home App. Keep the smartphone close to the device.
Abnormal PM2.5 readings.
  1. Dust or foreign objects might be adhering to the sensor hole on the back of the device.
  2. Clean it carefully.
Abnormal temperature and humidity readings.Contact Customer Support.
Data in the app is not updated in time.
  1. Ensure the device is connected to the Govee Home App.
  2. Contact Customer Support.
The app cannot export the data.Register or log in before exporting the data.

For App & Connectivity

1. Cannot connect to Govee Home App.

2. Cannot find the device on the Bluetooth Device Nearby page of the app.

The air monitor may be connected to another smartphone. Disconnect it from the other smartphone first.

3. The air monitor is offline.
