3. Test Set-up and Operation Modes

Principle of Configuration Selection: The EUT was configured to achieve its highest possible emission level. Test conditions were adjusted according to the instructions for use.

Equipment and Cable Arrangement:

Conducted Emission Setup: The test setup includes the EUT, a Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN), an EMI receiver, a computer, a transformer, and a power supply. The EUT is placed on a wooden support 80 cm above the ground. The distance between the EUT and the LISN is 80 cm.

Radiated Emission Setup: The test setup involves placing the EUT on an 80 cm high wooden support. The distance from the EUT to the receiving antenna is 3 meters. The antenna height is adjustable from 1 to 4 meters. The EUT is rotated 360 degrees to find maximum disturbance.

Test Software: No special test software was used.

Special Accessories and Auxiliary Equipment: None were used.

Countermeasures to achieve EMC Compliance: No special measures were employed to meet the requirements.

4. Conformity Decision Rule

For all EMI tests in this report, compliance is determined by comparing measurement results directly with the specified limits. This approach is taken because the measurement uncertainties are less than the values specified in CISPR 16-4-2.

Expanded Measurement Uncertainty (k=2): 2.33 dB

The minimum margin to the limit was 42.70 dB at 25.599750 MHz. This margin is greater than the expanded measurement uncertainty.

The test setup followed ANSI C63.4-2014. Measurement equipment complies with CISPR 16-1 standards. The EUT was placed on a wooden support 0.8 m from the AMN, with its power cord bundled to a length of 0.3-0.4 m. Tests were conducted on both the neutral and phase lines.

The test was conducted in a semi-anechoic chamber with a 3-meter test distance. The EUT was placed on an 80 cm wooden support. The support was rotated 360°, and the antenna height was varied from 1 to 4 meters to find the maximum disturbance. Tests were performed with the antenna in both horizontal and vertical polarizations.
