Use and Care Recommendations
- Water Source: This machine does not suck water from ponds or tanks. It must be connected to a supply outlet or an elevated tank.
- Filters: Always use filters and clean them after each use. Replace filters when they turn dark brown.
- Working Cycles: Adhere to a working cycle of 50 minutes of work followed by 20 minutes of rest. The daily maximum operating time is 6 hours.
- Maintenance: Perform periodic maintenance as outlined on page 10.

Power Requirements
WARNING: Ensure proper grounding to reduce the risk of electric shock. This tool is equipped with a grounded plug and cord. Connect to a properly installed and grounded power source according to local codes.
WARNING: When using an extension cord, verify its gauge is sufficient for the tool's power needs. A lower gauge cord can cause voltage drop, power loss, and overheating. Refer to the table for correct gauge selection based on cord length and amperage.

General Power Tool Safety Warnings

Safety Warnings for Power Washers
Before Operating the Washer
- CAUTION: High-pressure spray is powerful and can be dangerous. Not recommended for painted surfaces, wood, or adhesive-pasted items.
- WARNING: Use only cleaning agents specifically designed for washers. Do not use bleach, chlorine, acids, or other chemical products, as they can damage the machine.
- The washer is not waterproof; keep it away from the washing area.
- Ensure the power source is adequate and grounded. Consider installing a power disconnect device.
- WARNING: Use only original TRUPER spare parts (nozzles, lance, gun, hose).
- Inspect all parts for damage before use. Replace any malfunctioning parts.
- WARNING: Do not use in the presence of people unless they wear protective clothing.
- Do not aim the jet at living beings, active electrical equipment, or the device itself.
- Do not allow children or inexperienced individuals to use the washer.
- WARNING: Using an incorrect extension cord can be dangerous. Ensure plug and power inlet have the same water protection.
- Do not use if the power cord or critical parts (safety devices, nozzles, trigger) are damaged.
- CAUTION: Water passing through the system is not potable.
When Operating the Washer
- CAUTION: Unroll the pressure hose completely to prevent overheating.
- WARNING: Wear eye protection and waterproof clothing.
- Use both hands on the gun and lance for control.
- WARNING: Never touch the nozzle or water spray while the washer is operating.
- Do not cover the washer during use to allow air circulation.
- WARNING: Never aim the water spray towards the power cord or the washer, as this can cause a fatal electric shock.
- WARNING: Never discharge spray directly at people or animals. Only people wearing protective gear may be near the washer. Do not aim the water jet at yourself or others to clean clothes or shoes.
- WARNING: Keep all power connections dry and above ground.
- DANGER: Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
After Operating the Washer
- CAUTION: Do not store equipment with pressure in the system. Release residual pressure by holding the trigger after shutting off the water supply.
- Disconnect the power cable when not in use and before removing the high-pressure hose.
- CAUTION: Engage the trigger lock on the high-pressure gun when not in use to prevent accidental discharge.
- Never tie knots in or fold the high-pressure hose, as it can get damaged.
- CAUTION: Do not use or store this product in temperatures below 40 °F (4 °C). Warranty does not cover frost damage.
Automatic Shutdown
The washer has a shutdown device that stops the motor when the high-pressure gun trigger is released. If this device fails, DO NOT USE the washer and contact a TRUPER Authorized Service Center, as continued use may cause damage or severe personal injury.

Assembly
High Pressure Hose
- The high-pressure hose is pre-assembled to the reel. For replacement:
- Connect the high-pressure hose (A) to the high-pressure outlet (B) on the reel. Pull the latch (C), insert the hose connection, and push the latch to secure (D).
- Verify the connection of the pressure washer to the reel (B') is secure. The locking system is the same as the high-pressure outlet connection.
Water Supply Hose
- CAUTION: Before connecting the garden hose (E), flush it to remove debris. If using well water, use a hose no longer than 29.5 ft and an additional filter.
- Use a reinforced hose (not included) with a standard connection (5/8" outer diameter, 15/32" inner diameter, max 33 ft length).
- Always untangle the garden hose and high-pressure hose to prevent pressure fluctuations.
- Connect the garden hose (E) to the quick connector (F) and the filter (G) to the water inlet (H).
- The quick connector (F) allows easy connection and disconnection to the filter (G).
- WARNING: The filter (G) is essential to prevent damage from sand, silt, or stones. Using the connector without the filter voids the warranty.
- WARNING: Disconnect the garden hose to prevent filter damage when moving the machine.
High-Pressure Gun
- Connect the free end of the high-pressure hose to the gun orifice (I). Press the button (I'), insert the hose connector into the gun hole, and release the button to secure it.
- Screw the lance (K) onto the tip of the high-pressure gun.
- WARNING: Use only original or manufacturer-approved replacement parts for safety.
Nozzle Selection
The pressure washer comes with different nozzles for various tasks:
- Red (0°): For heavy-duty cleaning on hard surfaces like cement, brick, and masonry.
- Yellow (15°): For cleaning exteriors, fences, patios, and terraces.
- Green (25°): For cleaning boats, RVs, and gardening equipment.
- White (40°): General purpose cleaning.
- Black (Soap): For applying detergent.
WARNING: Before mounting or removing a nozzle, turn off the washer, shut off the water supply, depress the trigger to release pressure, and engage the safety latch. Failure to comply can result in serious injury.
WARNING: Do not point the metal lance at your face when assembling or disassembling nozzles, as the quick connect system could accidentally launch the nozzle.
- Insert the nozzle into the quick connector.
- Push the nozzle until the collar rises.
- Pull the nozzle to ensure it is secured.
- To remove, hold the nozzle and pull the quick connect collar.
- WARNING: The quick connector has a spring. Hold the nozzle firmly before pulling the collar to prevent it from being ejected.
Start Up
Turning On
- Open the water faucet and keep it open throughout operation. Maximum inlet pressure: 174 PSI.
- Connect the plug to the power supply.
- Tighten and hold the high-pressure gun trigger to release trapped air. Release the trigger when water flow is constant.
- Turn the switch (C) to the ON position. The motor will start momentarily and then stop.
Spraying
- Always hold the gun and lance with both hands for control.
- Aim the lance towards the floor and press the trigger to start spraying.
- Release the trigger to stop spraying.
Detergent Use
- WARNING: Use only detergents designed for pressure washers. Avoid products with bleach, chlorine, acids, or other corrosive agents.
- Remove the detergent tank cap (E) and add the appropriate detergent. Do not add water to the tank; the machine mixes it automatically.
- WARNING: The machine only suctions detergent at low pressure. Mount the soap nozzle (black) on the lance.
- Squeeze the trigger to dispense detergent mixed with water. Adjust detergent flow using the detergent switch (E).
- Apply detergent to cover the cleaning surface.
- Turn off the spray gun and let the detergent sit for a couple of minutes.
- Switch to other nozzles for high-pressure cleaning to rinse the surface.
Maintenance
Cleaning and Care
- Keep the washer free of dust. Clean only with a dry cloth; do not use water or chemical liquids.
- Keep ventilation slots clean and unobstructed for proper motor cooling.
- Regularly inspect and tighten all mounting screws.
- Protect the motor from oil and water.
- Check the power cable for damage and have it replaced by a TRUPER Authorized Service Center if necessary.
Connections Lubrication
Clean and lubricate hose connections, the high-pressure gun, and the lance regularly with non-water-soluble grease to prevent leaks and seal damage.
Nozzle Lubrication
Lubricate nozzles regularly with non-water-soluble grease or light oil. A blocked nozzle can increase pump pressure. Clean immediately by inserting the nozzle cleaner through the center orifice and purging with water. Repeat if pressure remains high.
Washer Lubrication
Take the machine to a TRUPER Authorized Service Center every six months for maintenance (valve lubrication and oil change).
Water Filter
- Foreign matter entering the pump can cause damage. The washer has a water filter to prevent this.
- Keep the internal screen of the water filter clean for continuous water flow and to prevent pump damage.
- To clean the screen, remove the filter from the garden hose connector, unscrew the screen, and handle it carefully.
- Reassemble the screen and connector immediately to prevent foreign particles from entering the pump.
- CAUTION: Before closing the filter, ensure the screen (A) is correctly seated within the seal (B) to avoid leaks or damage.
Storing in Winter
- Turn OFF the washer and press the trigger to release pressure.
- Remove both the garden hose and the pressure hose.
- Turn ON the washer for 5 seconds to eliminate trapped water from the pump.
- Disconnect the washer and store the power cord.
- Store the washer and accessories in a dry, temperature-controlled environment. Do not store where temperatures may drop below 40 °F (4 °C).
- CAUTION: Freezing damage is not covered by the warranty.
