TINAD Refrigerator/Freezer Installation Guide
This document provides instructions for the installation of the TINAD refrigerator/freezer.
Important Safety Information
WARNING: Electrical, water, and gas installations and connections must be carried out by a qualified technician according to the manufacturer's instructions and in compliance with local safety regulations.
Required Tools and Parts
The following tools are recommended for installation:
- Screwdriver (Phillips head)
- Hammer
- Pencil
- Gloves
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Spirit level
The following parts are included:
- Screws (A, B, C)
- Plastic dowels (D)
- Drawer slides (E, J, K)
- Mounting brackets (F, G)
- Ice scraper (H)
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Unit
Ensure the unit is positioned correctly. Check the dimensions for placement: 540mm width, 545mm depth, and a total height of 1850mm. Ensure adequate ventilation space around the unit, with a minimum of 200 cm² at the bottom and top.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Brackets
Attach mounting brackets (F) to the top of the unit using screws (B). Ensure a 2mm gap is maintained.
Step 3: Install Drawer Slides
Install drawer slides (E) into the cabinet using screws (C). Follow the indicated measurements for precise placement.
Step 4: Attach Side Panels
Attach side panels using screws (A) and dowels (D) as shown in the diagrams. Ensure correct orientation.
Step 5: Mount the Doors
The doors can be mounted to open either to the left or right. Follow the diagrams to attach the hinges and doors correctly. Use screws (A) for mounting the hinges to the cabinet and doors.
Step 6: Adjust Doors
Adjust the doors using the provided screws on the hinges to ensure they are level and close properly. A spirit level can be used for accuracy.
Step 7: Install Shelves and Drawers
Insert shelves and slide in the drawers onto the installed runners.
Step 8: Secure the Unit
Secure the unit to the wall using appropriate mounting hardware (not always included, depending on wall type). Follow the instructions for wall mounting, ensuring the unit is stable and level.
Step 9: Final Checks
Ensure all screws are tightened and all parts are correctly installed. The ice scraper (H) can be used for defrosting.
