Features and Controls
The Champion 100 amplifier features two channels, a variety of built-in effects, and a user-friendly interface.
- INPUT: Connect your guitar here.
- FTSW (Footswitch): Connect the included footswitch for remote channel selection and effects on/off switching.
- VOLUME (1/2): Adjusts the channel volume level.
- TREBLE/MID/BASS: Adjusts the channel's tonal characteristics.
- FX LEVEL: Adjusts the level of the selected channel's effects.
- FX SELECT: Selects the channel's effects, including: Effects OFF, Touch-Wah, Flange, Vibratone (Slow/Fast), Chorus, Chorus + Delay, Chorus + Reverb, Delay Slapback, Delay Long, Tremolo (Slow/Fast), Reverb + Delay, Reverb Room, Reverb Hall, Reverb Spring.
- TAP: Use this button to tap in a custom delay time or modulation rate by pressing it rhythmically in sync with the desired interval. The TAP LED blinks at the current delay/modulation interval. Pressing the TAP button once sets the interval to its maximum value.
- CH SELECT: Switches between amplifier channels, indicated by the channel indicator light. This function is overridden by the footswitch's CH SELECT switch when connected. Channel 1 provides a clean tone based on Fender Blackface™ amplifiers.
- GAIN: Adjusts the channel's distortion level. Use with the VOLUME knob to set the overall loudness.
- CHANNEL INDICATOR: Illuminates when channel 2 is selected.
- VOICE: Selects the amplifier voice type for channel 2, offering various classic Fender tones like Tweed Bassman®, Tweed Deluxe™, Tweed Champ®, '65 Twin-Amp™, '65 Deluxe™, '65 Princeton®, Super-Sonic™, and various British and metal voicings.
- AUX: Connect a media player for accompaniment. Adjust the input level using the media player's volume control.
- PHONES: Connect headphones here to enjoy the amplifier's effects in stereo. The amplifier speakers mute automatically. This output can also be used for recording or sound reinforcement.
- PRE OUT/PWR IN: For an effects loop, connect PRE OUT to the input of an external effects device and PWR IN to the output of that device.
- PWR: Illuminates when the unit is switched on.
Rear Panel
- POWER: Switch to the "ON" position to turn the unit on and "OFF" to turn it off.
- INPUT POWER: Connect the included power cord to a grounded outlet in accordance with the voltage and frequency ratings specified on the rear panel of your amplifier.
