Installation Option

The installation guide details connection points and placement:

  • Water Inlet Connection: Connect the water inlet and angle valve with the flexible hose.
  • Installation Types:
    • Standard Installation: Shows toilet placement relative to floor, water outlet (angle valve mounting), and wall power outlet (GFCI).
    • No Show Installation: Similar to standard, but may imply concealed plumbing.
  • Dimensions: Diagrams indicate recommended locations for remote control mounting and measurements for rough-in and height relative to the wall and floor.

Parts Identification

The electronic bidet toilet components are identified as follows:

  • Main Unit Exterior: Lid, Bumper, Seat, Porcelain Bowl.
  • Left Side Panel: Buttons for Flush, Front cleaning, Rear cleaning, Stop/ECO.
  • Right Side Panel: Power cord, Manual flush button, Deodorization window, Remote sensing window. A sensing area for foot activation (optional) is indicated.
  • Internal Components (viewed from top/rear): Spray nozzle, Drying baffle.

Installation of Ceramic Toilet

The installation process involves several steps:

  1. Mating Angle Valve Installation: Draw a centerline on the floor and install the angle valve on the wall according to the toilet's dimensions.
  2. Cardboard Installation: Use provided cardboard templates to align with the drain outlet centerline and draw the toilet's contour line on the floor.
  3. Flexible Hose Connection: Connect one end of the new hose to the toilet's water inlet and tighten it.
  4. Mounting Bracket Installation: Assemble the mounting bracket with bolts, then install it onto the pre-installed flange plate on the ground and secure with nuts.
  5. Porcelain Toilet Installation: Install the sealing flange into the drain outlet. Place the ceramic toilet onto the corresponding position according to the contour line. Tip: The toilet is heavy; two people are recommended for carrying.
  6. Screw Installation: Insert screws through fixing sleeves, then through the toilet's mounting holes into the bracket on the ground, and tighten with a tool. Place decorative caps on the fixing sleeves.
  7. Hose to Angle Valve Connection: Connect the other end of the new hose to the angle valve and tighten it.
  8. Silicone Sealant Application: Apply high-quality mildew-resistant glass glue around the lower edge of the toilet base for sealing. Tips: Clean the drain outlet and ensure the toilet sits perfectly on it.

Previous Preparation

  1. Turn on the Angle Valve: Check the thread connection for leaks. Unscrew the angle valve counterclockwise to its maximum opening. (Tip: The handle may have higher torque when opening for the first time).
  2. Power Connection: Insert the power line leakage protection plug into the power socket. Press the reset switch; the indicator light should illuminate, indicating power is on. Tip: Press the electric leakage test button before usage; a popped-up reset switch indicates the leakage protection function is normal. Test monthly. This applies to models with a leakage protection plug.
  3. Self-Inspection: The unit performs a self-inspection indicated by buzzer sounds and indicator lights (blue, then red). A second beep signifies completion. The unit then starts in normal function mode.

Auto Lid Open/Close and Foot-Sensing Function

The electronic toilet offers automatic lid open/close and foot-sensing features:

  • Auto Lid Open: When a user approaches, the human body sensing window detects their presence, activating indicator lights, and the seat cover opens automatically.
  • Auto Lid Close: The seat cover closes automatically 180 seconds after the user leaves.
  • Male User Stand-to-Use: The seat can be opened by remote control or hand. The lid and seat close 180 seconds after the user leaves.
  • Foot-Sensing Operation:
    • When the lid and seat are closed, touching the sensing area with your foot opens the toilet lid.
    • When the lid is open and the seat is closed, touching the sensing area with your foot opens the seat.
    • When both lid and seat are open, touching the sensing area with your foot activates a half flush.

Daily Maintenance

Main Unit Care and Maintenance

  1. Shut off power supply before maintenance.
  2. Wipe stains with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. After cleaning, reconnect the toilet to the power supply.

Spray Nozzle Maintenance and Care

  1. Nozzle Self-Cleaning: When no user is seated, press the "Rear Wash/massage" button on the main unit. The nozzle will automatically extend and eject washing water.

  4. Nozzle Retraction: Put the nozzle back to the front of the boom and press the "Stop" button to automatically retract the nozzle.

Emergency Troubleshooting

Maintenance of Filter Net

Time for Maintenance: When water pressure is normal but flush performance is poor.

  1. Unscrew the angle valve nut.
  2. Remove the filter net.
  3. Use a toothbrush to clean the filter net.
  4. Reinstall the filter net and angle valve nut.

Electricity and Water Supply Cut-off

  1. No Power: Activate flushing by pressing the flush button manually.
  2. No Water Supply: Flush the toilet bowl with approximately 2 gallons of water. Note: Avoid water spilling from the bowl.

Troubleshooting

Failure of Remote Control

  1. Operation: Operate the buttons directly on the Smart bidet seat.
  2. Battery Replacement: Remove the remote control from its wall bracket. Open the battery cover, replace the battery, and put it back into the bracket. Tip: When replacing the battery, the remote control settings may reset to default and require re-configuration.

When the Product is Left Unused for Long Time

Especially in winter, if no one is home for an extended period, drain the water inside the tank and pipe to prevent freezing.

  • To Discharge Water:
    • Drain the water inside the tank: Turn off the angle valve, then flush all water inside by pressing and holding the manual flush button.
    • Drain the water inside the pipe: Unscrew the hose connector from the angle valve, drain the water from the pipe, and then reinstall.
    • Unplug and cut off the electricity.
    • Handle the remaining water in the bowl: It is suggested to put some antifreeze into the water inside the bowl.
  • Tips: Make sure to turn on the water supply and power when you use the toilet again. Note: Before water discharging, the power must be cut off.

Illustration of Main Unit Keys

The main unit buttons and their functions are illustrated:

  • Stop Button: Press and hold to enter shutdown mode (red light off). Press again to return to working mode (red light on). In shutdown mode, all buttons except "Stop" are invalid. When the user is seated, pressing "Stop" halts washing or drying functions. When not seated, repeated "Stop" presses switch between working mode (red light) and power save mode (blue light).
  • Rear Washing/Massage Button: When seated, press to wash the rear portion. Press repeatedly to toggle mobile massage function. Press "Stop" to halt. After cleaning, if the user remains seated, the drying function automatically activates. When not seated, pressing this button extends the wand for manual cleaning; press "Stop" to retract.
  • Front Washing/Massage Button: When seated, press to wash the front portion. Press repeatedly to toggle mobile massage function. Press "Stop" to halt. After cleaning, if the user remains seated, the drying function automatically activates.
  • Flush Button: When seated, long-press to activate the drying function. It stops automatically after one cycle. Press "Stop" to interrupt drying. In non-off mode, a short press activates the flush function. (Flush is invalid during rear or feminine wash; it activates after nozzle retraction when manually cleaned).

Tips:

  • Power light off / Energy saving light on: Energy saving mode.
  • Power light on / Energy saving light off: Working mode.
  • All lights off: Standby mode.
  • The default setting for all functions is the middle level. After using the controller, the unit shifts to the last set level.
