Features
The Rexing FM3 allows you to transmit music from a USB Flash Drive or wirelessly from your phone to your car's stereo system. It also provides a hands-free Bluetooth calling function through your car's stereo.

Power on/off
Turn On: Insert the FM3 into the car's cigarette lighter socket. The yellow display will automatically turn on. If it is off, long press the phone button for 2 seconds to turn it on.
Shutdown: Disconnect the power or long press the phone button for 3 seconds to shut down.
Note: The charging ports remain functional even when the FM3 is turned off.
Screen Display
- After power on, the display shows "bt" and frequency flashing alternately.
- Once pairing is successful, "bt" will be continuously displayed.
- Long press the phone button to enter FM mode, showing the frequency.
Basic Operations
1. FM and Wireless Pairing
Note: For optimal music quality, tune the FM3 to a blank frequency on your car radio (a channel without broadcast). Ensure the frequency matches your car's radio each time you use it.
- Turn your car radio to a blank frequency (e.g., static or light rustling).
- Long press the phone button for 2 seconds to enter FM mode (frequency display flashes). Use the left/right dials to adjust the frequency to match your car radio (e.g., FM 88.8). Click the button again or wait 3 seconds to exit FM mode.
- Wireless Connection:
- After powering on, the FM3 display shows "HI", then the car battery voltage, and finally enters pairing mode ("bt" flashing).
- On your smart device, turn on Bluetooth, search for "FM3", and connect. The "bt" indicator will remain on after a successful connection. You can now play music wirelessly. If prompted, enter the default password "0000". The device will automatically connect to the last paired device on subsequent uses.
2. Wireless Hands-Free Function
- Answer Call: Click the phone button.
- Hang Up Call: Click the phone button.
- Redial Last Number: Double-click the phone button.
- Reject Call: Long press the phone button for 2 seconds.
- Switch to Private Call: During a call, long press the phone button for 2 seconds.
3. Music Function
Note: Ensure a successful connection before using music functions.
3.1 Settings
3.1.1 Audio Source: Wireless/USB Flash Drive
3.1.2 Music Sound Effect:
Press the BASS button (marked with 'b') during music playback to activate the bass enhancement effect (b1). This is ideal for genres like dance, DJ, and RAP. Press the BASS button again to restore the default sound effect (b0).
- Wireless Mode: Play music from your smart device (e.g., phone) via Bluetooth.
- USB Flash Drive Mode: Insert a USB Flash Drive, and the FM3 will automatically play the music files.
Note: Use only one audio source at a time for the best experience.
3.2 Audio Source Selection
- The device defaults to the last connected audio source (Wireless or USB Flash Drive).
- The USB Flash Drive plays automatically when plugged in.
- After power off or restart, the FM3 resumes the previous playback mode (automatic for USB Flash Drive, manual for Wireless).
- In music mode, click the switch button (marked with '⋮') to seamlessly switch between Wireless and USB Flash Drive audio sources.
3.3 Audio Playback Operation
- Play/Pause: Click the switch button (marked with '⋮').
- Previous Song/Next Song: Dial left on the phone button (marked with '⋮') for the previous song; dial right for the next song.
- Volume Increase/Decrease: Dial up on the phone button (marked with '⋮') for volume up (V+); dial down for volume down (V-).
4. Voice Assistant
- Double-click the switch button to activate your device's voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant).
- Double-click the switch button again to exit the voice assistant.
5. QC3.0 Charging Port Description
- For devices not supporting QC3.0 fast charging, the maximum output is 5V/2.4A.
- For devices supporting QC3.0, it delivers DC 3.6-6.5V/3A, 6.5-9V/2A, 9-12V/1.5A.
6. Type-C Charging Port Description
- For devices not supporting PD fast charging, the maximum output is 5V/2.4A.
- For devices supporting PD fast charging, it delivers DC5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A (18W). Use a USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to Lightning cable for compatible devices.

7.1. Noise Problem
- Solution:
- Reduce the speaker volume and increase the volume on your smart device.
- If interference is suspected, switch to a different blank FM frequency.
7.2. The other party cannot hear you during a call
- Reason 1: Incorrect dialing method.
- Solution: Click the FM3 phone button to answer calls through the car speaker, or activate your phone's speaker to answer.
- Reason 2: Low call volume.
- Solution: Increase your phone's volume. Ask the other party to increase their volume during the call.
- Reason 3: Microphone issue.
- Solution: Contact Rexing customer service at care@rexingusa.com for assistance.

Friendly Reminder
Before first use, insert the FM3 into the car's cigarette lighter socket after starting the car. Tune your car radio to a blank channel with minimal static. Then, insert the FM3 and match its FM frequency to your car radio's frequency. You should hear quiet static. If not, find another blank channel. Finally, connect your phone via Bluetooth to enjoy music and hands-free calls.
