Functions of all Keys/Buttons

This section describes the various buttons and interfaces on the Ambar Bluetooth Headset.

Key Components:

Volume adjustment / Up and down selection: Controls volume and navigates tracks.
On/Off key: Powers the device on or off.
LED Signal Lamp: Indicates the status of the headset (e.g., charging, pairing).
Charging interface/Sub-ear line interface: Port for charging the headset.
Call microphone: Captures your voice for calls.
Long press for Language Change / Play/pause button: This multi-function button is used for changing voice notification language, playing/pausing media, and answering/ending calls.
Answer/hang up phone: This button is used to answer or end calls.
Single click to start Siri/Google Assistant: Activates voice assistants.
Double click to redial the last dialed number: Quickly redials the most recent outgoing call.

Pairing Your Headset

Follow these steps to connect your Ambar Bluetooth Headset to your devices.

(1) Pairing with First Device

Before first use, pair the headset with your mobile or another Bluetooth device.

Turn on the Bluetooth: The LED indicator will flash red and blue alternately. You will hear "Power on" in your ear if wearing it.
Connect via Mobile: Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth function. Search for "Ambar EPC 04" from the list of available devices. Once connected, you will hear "connected" in your ear.

Subsequent connections to your mobile will be automatic.

(2) Pairing with Second Device

After successfully pairing with the first device, disconnect it.

Pair the second device following the same steps. Once connected, you may need to select "call phone audio" for the first phone and "media audio" for the second device if your phone supports simultaneous connections.

(3) Answer/End/Disconnect the call/Redial

Answering/Ending Calls:

Press the top button on the mic to receive an incoming call or end an ongoing conversation.
To reject an incoming call, long-press the same button for 2-3 seconds.
Alternatively, you can answer by saying "YES" clearly or reject by saying "NO".

Redialing:

Double-press the top button on the mic quickly to redial the last dialed number, even if the mobile screen is off.

(4) Play/Pause/Next/Previous

Music Playback:

In normal state, press the side button on the mic to play or pause music.
Volume Control: Long-press the volume keys to increase or decrease volume.
Track Navigation: A single press on the volume '+' key skips to the next song/audio. A single press on the volume '-' key skips to the previous song/audio.

Charging and Power

(5) Charging/ Rechargeable Charging Case

The headset can be charged using the provided charging case, which acts as a power bank. The case can charge the headset 2-3 times on a full charge. It is recommended to fully charge both the case and headset before the first use. The case is portable and convenient for charging on the go.

Voice Assistant Integration

(6) How to use Google Assistant or Siri through this Headset?

Ensure Google Assistant or Siri is already set up and functional on your mobile device.

To activate, simply press the top button on the mic. Your mobile will then listen for your commands. The headset acts as the microphone and speaker for your mobile device, enabling voice control without touching your phone.

(7) How to Change Language of Voice Notifications

To switch voice notification language between English and Chinese, long-press the side button on the mic.

Care and Maintenance

Follow these guidelines to maintain your headset:

Do not expose the speakerphone to liquid, moisture, or humidity.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning solvents.
Do not place the speakerphone in high temperatures.
Protect the speakerphone from sharp objects to prevent scratching and damage.
Do not attempt to disassemble the speakerphone, as it contains no serviceable components.
If not in use for an extended period, store it in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and dust.

Wearing Instructions

(10) How to wear properly, in any ear either left or right side?

The speaker part with the microphone can be rotated to fit comfortably in either the left or right ear.
