This manual provides instructions for the IKEA TRÅDFRI wireless control outlet.
Pairing a Steering Device to Your Control Outlet
When the control outlet is sold with a wireless ON/OFF switch in the same package, they are already paired. To add more control outlets, repeat the following steps:
- Ensure your control outlet is plugged in and the main power is turned on.
- Hold the steering device close to the control outlet you want to add (no more than 5 cm away).
- Press and hold the pairing button [pair-button-icon] for at least 10 seconds. The pairing button is located under the rear cover.
A steady red light will appear on the ON/OFF switch. A white light on the control outlet will dim and flash once to indicate successful pairing.
Up to 10 control outlets can be paired with one ON/OFF switch. Pair them one at a time. If control outlets are close to each other, disconnect already paired outlets from the wall outlet.
Factory Reset Your Device
For control outlet:
Push a pin into the pinhole on the bottom of the control outlet for at least 5 seconds.
Important Information
- The control outlet is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C.
- Do not leave the control outlet in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
- Do not subject the control outlet to wet, moist, or excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
- The range between the steering device and the receiver is measured in open air. Building materials and unit placement can affect wireless connectivity range.

- Do not connect devices sequentially.
- Do not cover when in use.
- To disconnect power, pull the plug.
- Use only indoors in dry areas.
- Do not overload the product.
- Discard the product if damaged.

Care Instructions
To clean the control outlet, wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as this can damage the product.
