IKEA's smart lighting collection is designed for ease of use. Dimming Luminaires

For simple dimming of your luminaires, choose a TRÅDFRI set that includes a wireless dimmer and a warm white LED bulb (2700 Kelvin). The TRÅDFRI wireless control driver allows dimming of integrated LED lighting such as MITTLED, SKYDRAG, VAXMYRA, and ÖVERSIDAN.

Dimming and Adjusting Color Temperature (Warm to Cool)

To dim your luminaires and gradually adjust the light from warm to cool, select a complete TRÅDFRI set with a remote control and a white spectrum LED bulb.

Dimming, Adjusting Color Temperature, and Changing Colors

If you want to dim your luminaires and smoothly transition between warm and cool light, or even change colors, opt for a complete TRÅDFRI set that includes a remote control and a color spectrum and white spectrum LED bulb. The remote control offers a choice of 9 white tones and colors.

For automatic lighting that turns on and off with movement, choose a TRÅDFRI motion sensor and pair it with IKEA smart bulbs.

Creating the Perfect Ambiance for Any Occasion

To create various ambiances using the app, choose a TRÅDFRI set that includes a gateway, remote control, and two white spectrum LED bulbs. With the gateway and the IKEA Home smart app, you can control your light sources individually. Use the remote or app to adjust brightness and create the ideal atmosphere for activities like watching TV or having a dinner for two. Turn lights on/off, dim, and change color temperature as often as you like. Set a wake-up light, schedule timers for lights to turn on and off, or have them illuminate even when you're away. The gateway supports up to 100 bulbs and control devices. IKEA regularly updates the app to enhance functionality.

Voice Control

Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa, Apple Home app, or Siri.

Glossary of Smart Lighting Terms

• White spectrum: Three different white light tones, from warm to cool (warm glow – 2200 Kelvin, warm white – 2700 Kelvin, cool white – 4000 Kelvin).
• Light source: LED bulbs and LED panels.
• Control device: A device used to control light sources, such as a remote control.
• Wireless control driver: A device that allows dimming of integrated LED lighting such as OMLOPP, STRÖMLINJE, VAXMYRA, and NORRFLY.
• Group: An arrangement of LED bulbs and LED panels.
• Ambiance: A group of bulbs with different settings, such as various brightness levels or color temperatures.
• Pairing: Adding one or more bulbs to a remote control.
• Gateway: A device that enables personalized lighting control and allows TRÅDFRI items to be controlled via a smartphone or tablet.

Useful Information

TRÅDFRI LED bulbs can only be controlled by IKEA smart lighting devices and are not compatible with fixed-installation dimmers. The ZigBee protocol applies to all items in this collection.

The signal from TRÅDFRI smart lighting items has a range of up to 10 meters in open space. This range can be extended beyond 10 meters using the TRÅDFRI signal repeater.

Always check the maximum wattage a luminaire can support to choose the appropriate TRÅDFRI bulb. With TRÅDFRI wireless control drivers (10W and 30W), you can connect all our integrated lighting to IKEA smart lighting and control them via the TRÅDFRI remote control or the IKEA Home smart app. If the indicator lights flash when using the wireless control driver, it means the maximum wattage has been exceeded.
