Manual Gearshift Function
IMPORTANT: Manual gear shifting is not supported by all games. Ensure game compatibility before use. If supported, navigate to the "Options" / "Command" menu and select MANUAL gear.
The pedalboard has a clutch function, which requires game support. The left pedal is for clutch, the middle for brake, and the right for gas. If the game does not support the clutch, this pedal may have no function or act as a brake.
The 6+1 gear shift lever also requires game support. The LO-HI button on the right side of the gear lever switches between high and low gears. Pressing this button briefly shifts from low gears (1-6) to high gears (7-12), indicated by the LED. Pressing it again returns to low gears, and the LED turns off. This feature is currently supported mainly by truck games.
The "P" button on the left side of the gear lever functions as a handbrake. Press and hold to engage the handbrake, release to disengage (requires game support).
Vibration
The steering wheel has a built-in dual vibration motor. This feature is unavailable when the gear lever is plugged in. To experience vibration, play without the gear lever and use the paddles for shifting. Vibration can be adjusted in the game's menu.
Gaming Headset
Connect your gaming headset to the back of the steering wheel for game audio and chat.
- On PS4: Available in all game modes.
- On XBOX: Not available when the gear lever is plugged in.
Programming Function
You can play GRAN TURISMO or other racing games with the default button configuration. For games with different button configurations, you have two options:
- Access the game's button configuration menus to create and save your own setup.
- Use the GS 650-X's "on-the-go" programming function to customize button assignments without entering the game's options menu. This configuration is not saved after the console is turned off or the wheel is disconnected.
Programming Procedure:
- Press the PROG button; the red LED flashes rapidly.
- Press one of the 8 programmable keys to set a new function; the red LED flashes slowly.
- Press the button you want to assign to the programmable key (e.g., □, X, O, △, L1, R1, L2, R2). The LED turns red again, indicating the key is programmed.
- Repeat for other buttons as needed.
Resetting a Single Key:

Calibration
For precise steering adjustments and to avoid slight deviations:
