USER MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the iron. When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:
Use the iron only for its intended use.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate of the appliance corresponds to your outlet voltage.
We do not recommend using an extension cord, but if it is necessary, a proper gauge extension cord rated for the appropriate power must be used.
The iron temperature setting should always be turned off before plugging in or unplugging from the outlet.
Always disconnect iron from the electrical outlet when filling with water, emptying, or when not in use.
For best results, use clean water and do not add any additives to the water.
Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron, cable, or electrical plug in water or any other liquids.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from the outlet, instead grasp the electrical plug and pull to disconnect.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool down completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around the iron when storing.
Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or in the event the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a qualified serviceman for examination and repair. Incorrect assembly might result in a risk of electric shock when the iron is used after reassembly.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate an iron on the same circuit with another high wattage appliance.
If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a cord with an ampere rating equal to or greater than the maximum rating of the iron shall be used. A cord rated for less amperage can result in a risk of fire or electric shock due to overheating. Care shall be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or be tripped over.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Burns can occur when coming in contact with any hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down; there may be hot water in the reservoir.

Anti-drip system
If the heat setting is set to a lower setting, to prevent potential dripping, the iron is equipped with the ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM. During use, the anti-drip system may emit a clicking sound, particularly during heat up or when the iron is cooling down. This is normal and indicates that the anti-drip system is functioning correctly. ✅
Steam control switch
The Steam control switch regulates the amount of steam.
Ensure there is water ? in the Water tank.
Set a minimum heat setting of 8 as the steam burst function requires a higher heat.
Allow the iron to heat up (the text on display stops blinking).
Using the Steam control switch, set the desired steam amount or turn off the continuous steam output.
? NOTE: The iron continuously emits steam only if you hold it in a horizontal position. You can stop the release of steam by standing the iron on its heel or sliding the Steam control switch entirely to the left, to the 'OFF' ⚙️ position.
⚠️ ATTENTION: Do not use the steam function on silk and synthetics to prevent fabric damage.
Burst of steam
Use the Burst of steam function to remove stubborn wrinkles or to press in a sharp crease.

Press the Temperature decrease button repeatedly until the display lights up in red, the "STdby" message appears, and a sound signal is heard. Alternatively, press the Temperature decrease button for approximately three seconds until the display lights up in red. The product is switched off in standby mode and will not heat up anymore.
Disconnect the power cord ? from the power socket and allow the soleplate to cool down.
Empty the Water tank ? into a sink by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
Roll up the power cord around the iron.
Always store the iron in an upright position.
ANTI-CALC FEATURE
A special resin filter inside the Water tank softens the water and prevents scale build-up in the plate. The resin filter is permanent and does not need replacing.
Please note: PurSteam irons are designed to be used with REGULAR TAP WATER (up to 12 grains of hardness). If your water is harder than this, we recommend mixing half tap water with half distilled water, which reduces the hardness, or you can use distilled water only.
Always remember: Water containing additives (such as starch, perfume, or fabric conditioner) should not be used. Such additives can affect the properties of the steam and, at high temperatures, can form deposits in the steam chamber, which will mark the laundry when they are emitted through the steam vents. For this reason, descaling liquids should not be used.
SELF-CLEANING FEATURE
The self-cleaning feature cleans inside the soleplate, removing scale and impurities. We recommend using it every 10–15 days.
Instructions on how to perform the self-cleaning:
Fill the Water tank ? up to the maximum level and set the Steam control switch ⚙️ to the 'Self Clean' position.
Use the Temperature increase button to set the highest temperature (11) and wait for the iron to reach the operating temperature (the text on display stops blinking).
Pull the plug ? out of the socket and hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
Slide the steam control dial to the Self Clean position. Water and steam will now be emitted from the openings in the soleplate.
Tilt the product to remove all deposits in the tank and flush them out.
When the soleplate completely cools down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
Once the self-cleaning process is complete, iron an old, but clean towel first, as there may still be some particles of dirt under the soleplate.
GENERAL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
? NOTE: Before cleaning the iron, make sure that it is unplugged from the power outlet and cooled down.
When cold and unplugged, the iron can be wiped with a dry or a damp, lint-free cloth. Never use household cleaners or solvents.
If the iron has not been used for a long time (e.g., several weeks), the steam channels should be cleaned, and any deposits removed from the iron. To do this, hold the iron horizontally before you start to use it and allow it to produce steam for about 1 minute. Also, activate the Burst of steam button several times.
Cleaning the soleplate
Simply wipe the soleplate with a clean, soft cloth when it cools down.
During normal use, a sticky coating may build up on the soleplate (starch, detergent build-up, burnt synthetic fibers). This can be easily removed by using quality hot iron soleplate cleaner available at most stores.
Do not use abrasive household cleaners or abrasive cleaning pads.
The soleplate of your iron makes ironing easier. To prevent scratching of the soleplate, do not iron over sharp objects (zippers, etc.) or place the iron on rough surfaces, e.g., metal iron support, which may scratch the soleplate.
ADVICE FOR GOOD IRONING
We recommend using the lowest temperatures with fabrics that have unusual finishes (sequins, embroidery, etc.).
If the fabric is a blend (e.g., 40% cotton 60% synthetics), set a lower ironing temperature.
If you don't know the composition of the fabric, determine the suitable temperature by testing on a hidden corner of the garment. Start with a low temperature and increase it gradually until it reaches the ideal temperature.
Never iron areas with traces of perspiration or other marks: the heat of the plate fixes the stains on the fabric, making them irremovable.
To avoid marking silk, wool, or synthetic garments, iron them inside out. Alternatively, place a light fabric such as a handkerchief over fabric before ironing. The heat will penetrate through the handkerchief to the delicate fabric.
Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry. For example, silk should always be ironed damp.
