Setup Instructions:
For PlayStation (PS4/PS5):
- Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the PS4/PS5 controller.
- Navigate to PS4 Settings > Peripherals > Sound/Devices.
- Select "Headset Connected to Controller" for both Input and Output devices.
- Adjust "Adjust Microphone Level" to 80%.
- Choose "All Audio" for "Output to Headset" to hear all sounds, or "Chat Voice" to hear only chat audio.
- Enable "Automatic Switch to Output Device" for seamless audio switching.
For Xbox (Xbox One/Series X/S):
- Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the Xbox One controller. Note: An adapter may be required for controllers without a 3.5mm jack.
- Navigate to Xbox One Settings > Display & Sound > Audio Output > Output to Headset.
- Enable the "Microphone" on/off key.
- Adjust "Headset Chat Mixer" to 80% for optimal audio balance.
For Nintendo Switch:
- Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the Nintendo Switch.
- The Switch does not have built-in voice chat. Use the Nintendo Switch Online app for voice chat, which may require a subscription. Alternatively, some games like Fortnite and Overwatch support direct voice chat.
For PC/Laptop:
- Connect the 3.5mm jack to the appropriate audio ports (headphone and microphone).
- If your PC has separate ports, use the included splitter cable.
- Ensure microphone settings are enabled in your computer's sound settings.
Troubleshooting
No singing sound, only accompaniment: Ensure the headset plug is fully inserted and compatible with your device's audio jack. If using a non-standard interface, a transfer cable may be needed.
No voice chat, only music: Verify that the headset's microphone is turned on and functioning correctly. Check your computer's or console's audio settings to ensure the microphone is enabled.
Noise, low volume, unclear sound, or one-sided audio: Check the connection for a secure fit. Ensure there are no strong magnetic fields nearby. Adjust microphone boost settings in your computer's audio properties.
Current sound/static: Check the connection. Remove any nearby electronic devices that might cause interference. Adjust microphone boost settings.
Hearing Conservation Warning
Prolonged exposure to high volume levels can cause temporary or permanent hearing damage. It is recommended to use the headset at a moderate volume in a quiet environment to minimize the risk of hearing impairment. Avoid increasing the volume to mask external noise, as this can also lead to hearing damage. If you cannot hear someone speaking at a normal volume nearby, lower the headset volume.
