It allows the camera to be fitted with both a windshield and an LED light simultaneously, solving the common issue where the hot shoe is occupied, preventing the installation of other accessories.
The cold shoe adapter slides securely into the camera's hot shoe and features a scratch-resistant cushion on the bottom for a firm lock. Constructed from high-quality nylon, it offers increased strength and durability. The kit includes a dedicated windshield made with soft faux fur and a thickened inner design, specifically engineered to effectively reduce wind noise during outdoor shooting.
This cold shoe adapter is also compatible with the original windshield. An optional White Windshield (4734) is available separately. The adapter is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry, providing a streamlined vlogging solution for creators using Sony ZV-1 II, ZV-1, ZV-1F, ZV-E1, ZV-E10, and ZV-E10 II cameras.
