Buttons Introduction

The device features several buttons and ports:

The device is labeled DIGITAL PLAYER, Model: M501, Input: 5V-1A, Made in China, with FCC and CE markings.

Attention

1. If the downloaded APK cannot be installed, try a lower version of the APK.
2. In case of crashes or freezes, reset the device or restore factory settings. Back up all files before resetting, as they may not be retrievable.
3. If the SD card is not recognized, format it on the device via Settings > Storage > Portable storage > Format SD card.
4. Slide up from the bottom to reveal touch buttons. Press the button to hide them. If buttons turn black, press the button again to turn them white.
5. Press and hold the [power button] and [volume -] button simultaneously to take a screenshot.

Charging

1. Charging can be done via a wall charger or computer.
2. New batteries require several charge/discharge cycles for optimal performance.
3. If the device is not used for a long time, charge and discharge it at least once a month to prevent battery damage from over-consumption.

Gesture Operations

• Long press: Press icons for 2 seconds. Long press on the blank area of the main screen to access editing status.
• Slide: Slide fingers across the screen.
• Drag: Long press an icon and drag it to another position.

Settings

WIFI

Turn on WLAN. You can also swipe down the status bar to open the notification panel and set up WiFi. Tap on the desired WLAN to connect. A password is required for encrypted networks.

Bluetooth

Turn on Bluetooth. The device will automatically search for available devices. Select the Bluetooth device and finish pairing.

RAM

Displays average memory usage and memory used by apps.

Apps & Notifications

Lists recently opened apps. Tap an app to uninstall or force stop it. Notifications and app permissions are available.

Battery

Provides information on battery charge and usage, including intelligent power saving, battery percentage, and sleep mode. The screen turns off after 15, 30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10, or 30 minutes of inactivity.

Display

• Brightness level: Adjusts screen brightness.
• Night light: Sets a schedule for night light status and adjusts brightness intensity.
• Sleep: Screen turns off after 15, 30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10, or 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Wallpaper: Select from Gallery, Live Wallpapers, or Wallpapers.
• Auto-rotate screen: On/Off.
• Font size: Adjusts font size (Small, Default, Large, Largest).
• Display size: Adjusts display size (Small, Default, Large).

Sound

Adjusts media volume, alarm volume, ringtone volume, default notification sound, and default alarm sound. Do Not Disturb, screen lock sound, touch sounds, and sound enhancement are available.

Storage

Displays available and total space of internal storage and SD card, as well as the occupancy of each app.

Security & Location

• Screen lock: Set a screen lock using Swipe, Pattern, Voice, PIN, or Password. Warning: Write down your password or PIN before confirming to avoid losing access.
• Passwords: Toggle password visibility. Universal password: 1235789 (to unlock if password is forgotten).
• Encryption & Credentials: Manage storage type, trusted credentials, user credentials, and SD card installation.

Auto Shutdown

Set the device to never shut down or to automatically shut down in 5/10/15/20 minutes.

Schedule power on&off

Set a specific time for the device to power on and off.

System

• Language & input: Set languages and input methods.
• Keyboard & input methods: Select Android keyboard for preferred input language.
• Date & Time: Set the device's date and time.
• Reset options: Erase all data and reset to factory settings.
• About device: View detailed device information.

Warning

• Do not leave the device in environments with temperatures below -10°C or above 50°C for extended periods. Extreme temperatures can cause deformation and shorten the device's lifespan.
• Do not use the equipment during thunderstorms.
• Do not place the device in water for extended periods.
• Do not expose the equipment to direct sunlight for extended periods.
