Diagram: Shows the multi-purpose multi-angle adjustment display mount used in different positions, including on a windshield with a static sticker.

7. Wiring Instruction

Camera Wiring Method 1 (Suggested):

Connect the Red positive wire to a 10-32 VDC power source, the Black wire to the Negative/Ground source, and connect the camera plug. Ensure GREEN WIRES are UNCONNECTED.

Diagrams: Illustrate Camera Wiring Method 1 and Method 2.

Camera Wiring Method 2:

Connect the camera plug and Green wires. Connect the Red and Green wire to a 10-32VDC power source, and the Black wire to the Negative/Ground source.

Notice: Touch screen is invalid when the triggering function is activated. For long-hour observation, do not use Camera Wiring Method 2.

This method enables camera triggering. For example, connecting the green wire to the left turn signal light will switch the monitor to that camera when the turn signal is activated. This automatic switching helps avoid driver distraction.

Monitor Wiring:

Connect the monitor to the cigarette lighter power adapter or USB Type-C. The monitor can be powered through the vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter or USB Type-C.

Diagram: Shows monitor connected to cigarette lighter adapter and USB Type-C.

For additional cameras, pair them separately to CAM1/CAM2/CAM3/CAM4. Refer to page 15 for PAIRING.

8. Installation

Find the best signal reception position before installation. The metal body of the vehicle can significantly attenuate wireless signal strength. Test the signal strength before installation.

  1. Connect the monitor and camera as shown in the diagram.
  2. Pair the camera to the monitor (refer to page 15 PAIRING). Up to 4 cameras can be paired to CAM1/CAM2/CAM3/CAM4.
  3. Place the monitor and camera at the intended positions to test signal strength.

Diagrams: Show monitor and camera connections, and signal strength indicators (Good signal, Poor signal).

If signal strength is consistently under 2 bars, try a different position or mount the camera higher, ensuring the antenna is unobstructed. Refer to the pictures for guidance.

Installation Position 1:

Mount the camera higher than the vehicle's roof, keeping the antenna vertical.

Installation Position 2:

Mount the camera lower, close to the vehicle's roof, and angle the antenna outward 15-30 degrees. Proximity to metal surfaces can affect signal strength.

Special Notice: After position adjustment, proceed with installation if signal strength is above 2 bars.

Image freezing may occur on vehicles 42-65ft long if the antenna is poorly positioned (not on the roof or obstructed). Consider purchasing a Haloview 10M or 12M antenna extension cable to place the antenna on the roof without obstacles.

Diagram: Illustrates antenna placement on an RV for optimal signal reception. It is recommended to use an antenna length 2-3ft longer than the RV. Placing the antenna extension cable at the front of the RV, near the roof, is also recommended for better signal.
