Precautions for Use
- Dog Age: It is not recommended to use the Beeper One GPS collar with the sound activated on dogs younger than 6 months. It is important to gradually accustom puppies to the sound emitted by the device to avoid any stress or discomfort.
- Veterinary Check-up: Before using any type of electronic collar, it is advisable to have your dog undergo a complete veterinary examination to verify its health status and suitability for using such a device.
- Sound Adaptation: Gradually accustom your dog to the Beeper One GPS by letting it familiarize itself with the sound produced. The volume can be adjusted as needed; it is recommended to start with a moderate sound level. If the dog shows signs of discomfort or intolerance to the sound, discontinue use of the device.
- Use in Enclosed Spaces: Avoid using the Beeper One GPS in enclosed spaces, where the sound power of the device could cause hearing damage. It is recommended to perform all configuration and volume adjustment operations before placing the collar on the dog.
- Water Resistance and Maintenance: The collar is waterproof and can be submerged in water; therefore, the dog can cross streams or wet areas without problems. However, in case of prolonged immersion, mud or foliage may obstruct the acoustic cavity of the speaker, reducing the sound volume. In this case, it is necessary to unscrew the sound diffuser and remove debris to restore proper functioning.
- Storage: After use, carefully dry the device before storing it in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources.
- Safety: Keep the device out of reach of children. The collar is not a toy and, if activated in an enclosed space, it can cause permanent hearing damage.
