This guide provides instructions for setting up and using your Polono PL60 Logistics Label Printer.

Driver Installation and Setup

Windows Setup

  1. Before installation, plug in and power on the printer. Connect it to your computer.
  2. Browse the U-disk for the Windows driver file and click to install. Alternatively, download the driver from polono.com.

Mac Setup

  1. Browse the U-disk for the Mac driver file and click to install. Alternatively, download the driver from polono.com.

Loading and Using Labels

Loading the Roll (Folding Paper)

  1. Power on the printer and adjust the paper guides to fit the paper width.
  2. Insert the paper into the external paper roll inlet.
  3. The paper will automatically feed into the printer.

Loading External Paper Roll

Note:

Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the printer's power receptacle.
  2. Connect the other end of the power cord to a wall socket.

Clearing Paper Jams

  1. Power off the printer and unplug the power cord. Open the printer's top cover using the cover open levers.
  2. If the printer was recently used, allow the print head to cool down for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the jammed paper.
  4. Reload new paper.

Note: Power off the printer when clearing a paper jam.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Power off the printer and unplug the power cord. Open the printer's top cover.
  2. Allow the print head to cool down for 2-3 minutes if recently used.
  3. Clean the print head with alcohol using a dust-free cloth or while wearing rubber gloves.
  4. Wait for the alcohol to dry completely.
  5. Plug in and power on the printer. Press and hold the feed button for 2-3 seconds to print a test page.

FAQS

  1. I installed the printer's driver. Why am I still unable to print?
    The printer must be powered on and connected to the computer before driver installation. Uninstall and reinstall the driver.
  2. Why am I printing blank labels?
    Ensure you are using thermal labels and that they are oriented correctly with the label side facing upwards.
  3. How do I calibrate the printer?
    Press and hold the feed button until the blue indicator flashes twice. Release the button; the printer will calibrate.
  4. How do I set or change printer settings?
    Windows: Devices > Printers & Scanners > PLONO PL60 > Manage > Printing preferences. Additional settings are in the Advanced tab.
    Mac: Launchpad > System Preferences > Printers & scanners > PL60 > Options & Supplies.

Polono offers a 1-year warranty from the delivery date, covering quality-related issues and product defects.

If you are past the 30-day return period on Amazon, contact Polono directly via the "Contact seller" option on your Order Details. Polono can send a replacement product if it is not working properly.

This warranty does not cover abuse, mishandling, or unauthorized repairs.
