Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps to get your XbotGo RC1 Remote Controller up and running.
Basic Functions
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button [power button] for X seconds.
- Function Selection: Press the function selection button to cycle through different modes.
- Bluetooth Pairing:
- Press and hold the power button. The phone connection indicator will flash red.
- Open the XbotGo APP on your device.
- Select "XbotR-XXXX" in the APP for pairing.
- Upon successful connection, the indicator light turns solid blue.
Using the Remote Controller
Signal Range: If the remote controller exceeds the XX meter signal range, the red menu indicator light and circular ring light will flash, indicating disconnection. Re-entering the reception range within 1 minute will automatically restore the connection, indicated by a solid blue light.
[Sleep Mode] and Shutdown: The remote controller enters [sleep mode] after a period of inactivity. Press any button to wake it. It will automatically shut down after five minutes in [sleep mode]. Press the power button to restart.
Note: Disconnection does not affect the running APP. If the APP cannot find the remote controller, reset it by pressing the power button for X seconds and re-pairing.
Buttons and Functions
Familiarize yourself with the remote controller's buttons before use:
- A. Power Button: Turns the remote controller on and off.
- B. Function Selection Button: Cycles through camera, photo, and steering modes.
- C. Confirm Button: Used to take photos, start/pause video, or mark highlights.
- D. Directional Buttons (Circular Disk): Controls movement or gimbal direction.
- E. Battery Compartment: Houses the CR2032 battery.
Camera Function
Switch to camera mode using the Function Selection button. Use the Confirm button to control shooting:
- On the Remote Controller: A "beep" sound indicates entry into camera mode. Two consecutive "beep-beep" sounds indicate the camera is paused or not active.
- On the APP: A temporary blue mask appears on the screen, indicating camera mode is active.
Photo Function
Switch to photo mode using the Function Selection button. Press the Confirm button to capture a photo.
Steering Function
Switch to steering mode using the Function Selection button. Use the Directional Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to control the gimbal's direction.
Mark Function (Available during Camera Function mode)
Manually mark highlight moments during operation. The XbotGo APP records video segments before and after the marked moment, automatically generating a highlight video. A blue circular ring light flashes upon successful marking. View highlights in XbotGo App/Cloud Management/Cloud Drive.
Battery
The remote controller is equipped with a CR2032 button battery.
Notes: For optimal performance, do not use different types of batteries. If the device will not be used for over two months, remove the battery.
Battery Disposal: Do not dispose of batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Please refer to local regulations for proper battery disposal.
Notes on Remote Controller
- The remote controller must be used within XX meters of the device.
- The APP will provide pairing prompts when the remote control signal is received.
