- You may have too many devices connected to the WiFi router, or the ability to connect a new device is blocked.
- Turn the WiFi router off and on again.
- Sometimes, you can manually connect to a WiFi network named "ROBOT ###" by trying to connect to the robot vacuum.
Note: Ensure the charging station is within range of a high-quality, strong WiFi signal from your router so it can connect to the WiFi network during charging. The robot vacuum also needs this WiFi connection while charging to be properly oriented and available to start cleaning. Only 2.4 GHz WiFi is supported.
Robot Vacuum Software Update ⬆️
The robot vacuum's software is constantly being improved. If a new firmware version is available, you will be prompted to download the update in the TESLA app and install it on your robot vacuum.
Wet Mopping ?
Turn off the vacuum using the 'Main Switch (3)' and place it away from the charging station.
Install the blue mop cloth on the bottom of the water tank. Lightly dampen the mop cloth with water to wipe more quickly and smoothly. When removing the mop from the holder, be careful not to damage the Velcro fasteners on the holder. If the mop is dirty after cleaning, you can wash it thoroughly in lukewarm water.
Open the plastic cap and fill the tank with water. Only add water to the mopping container after removing it from the vacuum cleaner. Minor leakage may occur when transporting the mopping container, e.g., residual water. In such cases, immediately wipe up the spilled area with a dry cloth.
It is recommended to mop floors with clean water, as detergent can cause foaming and seep onto the mop, or cause streaks on the floor after drying.
- Do not mop carpets.
- Ensure there is an adequate amount of water in the tank.
- After mopping is complete, remove the water tank.
- For safety reasons, do not charge the battery when the water tank is in the robot.
Dry Mopping ?
To remove fine dust and polish the floor, use the dry mopping function with the mop cloth.
Do not use the microfiber cloth on uneven surfaces or carpets.
Maintenance ⚙️
WARNING! Regular maintenance is recommended for the most effective cleaning. FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE ROBOT VACUUM MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE AND VOID THE WARRANTY.
Before performing cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the vacuum cleaner using the 'Main Switch (3)'. Wipe the top cover of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents on the robot vacuum's surfaces, as this may damage the finish.
Dust Bin - Cleaning After Each Use
- Empty the dustbin regularly. The dustbin's capacity significantly affects the vacuum cleaner's suction power and cleaning quality.
- Empty the dustbin after cleaning.
- If you use water to clean the dustbin, dry it thoroughly before reassembling it into the vacuum cleaner.
Press the release button to remove the dustbin and empty it into a trash bin. It is recommended to wash the 'Main Filter' with clean water every 14 days, dry it, and reinstall it.
Filter Cleaning (HEPA)
Clean the HEPA filter regularly depending on its dirtiness, at least once a week, using a dust brush or a standard vacuum cleaner.
- Do not clean the HEPA filter with your fingers or a brush; only use a stream of clean water (do not use cleaning agents).
- Wait for the HEPA filter to dry completely; never install a wet HEPA filter in the robot vacuum!
- Vacuuming with a dirty HEPA filter or without the HEPA filter installed may damage the robot vacuum.
- It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months.
The dustbin can be cleaned with clean water.
Main Central Brush & Side Brushes Cleaning (Weekly) ?
To remove the main central brush, press both tabs on the brush cover. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair tangled in the main brush. The central brush should be protected from excessive hair, dust, cotton, etc.
At least once a week, check the cleaning brushes on both sides and the air inlet opening for dirt and remove tangled hair and other debris.
Sensors, Charging Contacts & Charging Station Cleaning (Weekly)
Once a week, clean the sensors on the underside of the vacuum cleaner (see illustration) with a soft, dry cloth. Check that the front bumper, under which the collision sensor is located, is not blocked. Clean the contacts on the underside of the robot vacuum (see illustration) and the contacts on the charging station with a soft, clean cloth.
Front Movable Wheel Cleaning (Weekly)
Keep it clean, free of hair and dust. Remove the central guide wheel from the vacuum cleaner, clean the wheel axle, and then reinstall it on the robot vacuum.
