Remote Control ?

The remote control allows you to operate the robot. Here are its functions:

Before First Cleaning ?

Ideal Charging Station Placement ?

Place the charging station with approximately 1 meter of free space on the sides and 2 meters in front. It must be on a flat surface. It is also recommended to secure it to the floor or wall using double-sided tape. Route the power cord so it does not get tangled in the robot's brushes. Do not place mirrors or other highly reflective objects within 15 cm of the floor in the charging station area. Do not expose the station to direct sunlight.

  1. Insert batteries into the remote control, observing correct polarity.
  2. Attach the cleaning brushes (left 'L' and right 'R') as shown.
  3. Connect the charging station to a 230V electrical outlet using the power adapter.
  4. Place the vacuum cleaner in the charging station; the robot's battery will begin charging automatically.

First Start & Cleaning Modes ?

Intelligent Cleaning

This is the most common cleaning method. The device uses advanced gyroscopic navigation and moves along an optimized cleaning path for the best floor coverage.

  1. Turn on the robot vacuum by switching the 'Main Switch (3)' to the ON position (I).
  2. While charging, the ▷ button will blink slowly and stop blinking when the battery is fully charged.
  3. Press the button or button '2' or '3' on the remote control. The robot should always be in the charging station when cleaning starts.
  4. To pause cleaning or stop the robot vacuum, press the 'Control Button (2)' or button '3' on the remote control.

Spot Cleaning

Place the robot vacuum in the area you want to clean and select 'Spot Cleaning' in the mobile app.

Intelligent Cleaning with Maximum Efficiency

Press the button on the remote control. The robot vacuum will start intelligent cleaning with maximum suction power.

Setting Time ⏰

Press the button on the remote to enter 'Time Setting' mode. First, set the hour using the ^ and v buttons. Then, press > to set the minutes in the same way. Confirm the set values by pressing the button. The robot vacuum will clean daily at the set time.

Scheduled Cleaning ?

The robot vacuum can be programmed for automatic cleaning once a day at a specified time, even when no one is home.

Press the button on the remote control. First, set the hour using the ^ and v buttons. Then, press > to set the minutes in the same way. Confirm the set values by pressing the button. The robot vacuum will clean daily at the set time. To cancel a scheduled cleaning, press the button for 3 seconds. If you turn off the robot vacuum using the main switch on the side, the scheduled cleaning will be deleted.

Return to Charging Station ?

By pressing the button, the robot will search for the charging station and begin charging.

Magnetic Tape ?

To prevent cleaning in a specific area, use the magnetic tape included in the TESLA RoboStar iQ300 package. Before cleaning, place it, or preferably use double-sided tape, in areas where you do not want the robot to vacuum. For example, you can block access to the next room, prevent it from reaching high-pile carpets, or protect delicate objects.

Smartphone Control ?

  1. Turn off the robot vacuum using the 'Main Switch (3)' on the side of the device.
  2. Install the robot vacuum control app on your smartphone and follow the instructions to connect your smartphone to the vacuum.

  7. Turn on the robot vacuum using the 'Main Switch (3)' on the side of the device.
  8. Press the top button ▷ for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep, and the WiFi indicator on the vacuum will start blinking.
  9. Press the 'Next' button, and the robot vacuum will begin the WiFi pairing process.
  10. After successful pairing, you can control selected functions of the vacuum cleaner via your mobile phone.

App Troubleshooting ❓

Note: Ensure the charging station is within range of a high-quality, strong WiFi signal from your router so it can connect to the WiFi network during charging. The robot vacuum also needs this WiFi connection while charging to be properly oriented and available to start cleaning. Only 2.4 GHz WiFi is supported.

Robot Vacuum Software Update ⬆️

The robot vacuum's software is constantly being improved. If a new firmware version is available, you will be prompted to download the update in the TESLA app and install it on your robot vacuum.

Wet Mopping ?

Turn off the vacuum using the 'Main Switch (3)' and place it away from the charging station.

Install the blue mop cloth on the bottom of the water tank. Lightly dampen the mop cloth with water to wipe more quickly and smoothly. When removing the mop from the holder, be careful not to damage the Velcro fasteners on the holder. If the mop is dirty after cleaning, you can wash it thoroughly in lukewarm water.

Open the plastic cap and fill the tank with water. Only add water to the mopping container after removing it from the vacuum cleaner. Minor leakage may occur when transporting the mopping container, e.g., residual water. In such cases, immediately wipe up the spilled area with a dry cloth.

It is recommended to mop floors with clean water, as detergent can cause foaming and seep onto the mop, or cause streaks on the floor after drying.

Dry Mopping ?

To remove fine dust and polish the floor, use the dry mopping function with the mop cloth.

Do not use the microfiber cloth on uneven surfaces or carpets.

Maintenance ⚙️

WARNING! Regular maintenance is recommended for the most effective cleaning. FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE ROBOT VACUUM MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE AND VOID THE WARRANTY.

Before performing cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the vacuum cleaner using the 'Main Switch (3)'. Wipe the top cover of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents on the robot vacuum's surfaces, as this may damage the finish.

Dust Bin - Cleaning After Each Use

Press the release button to remove the dustbin and empty it into a trash bin. It is recommended to wash the 'Main Filter' with clean water every 14 days, dry it, and reinstall it.

Filter Cleaning (HEPA)

Clean the HEPA filter regularly depending on its dirtiness, at least once a week, using a dust brush or a standard vacuum cleaner.

The dustbin can be cleaned with clean water.

Main Central Brush & Side Brushes Cleaning (Weekly) ?

To remove the main central brush, press both tabs on the brush cover. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair tangled in the main brush. The central brush should be protected from excessive hair, dust, cotton, etc.

At least once a week, check the cleaning brushes on both sides and the air inlet opening for dirt and remove tangled hair and other debris.

Sensors, Charging Contacts & Charging Station Cleaning (Weekly)

Once a week, clean the sensors on the underside of the vacuum cleaner (see illustration) with a soft, dry cloth. Check that the front bumper, under which the collision sensor is located, is not blocked. Clean the contacts on the underside of the robot vacuum (see illustration) and the contacts on the charging station with a soft, clean cloth.

Front Movable Wheel Cleaning (Weekly)

Keep it clean, free of hair and dust. Remove the central guide wheel from the vacuum cleaner, clean the wheel axle, and then reinstall it on the robot vacuum.

Troubleshooting Table (Continued)

Problem Cause Solution
Is it necessary to disconnect the charging station power when the robot vacuum battery is fully charged? In standby mode, the robot vacuum consumes very little energy, so it is recommended not to turn off the power. If you do not use the vacuum cleaner for a long time, turn it off and disconnect the charging station from the mains. However, the vacuum cleaner should be fully charged every three months to prevent complete battery discharge.
Robot battery cannot be charged. Robot is not parked properly in the charging station. Ensure that the charging contacts are properly connected to the robot in the charging station.
The charging station is not connected to the outlet, and the robot is switched on. The charging station should always be connected to the outlet; do not turn it off. The robot will then always be fully charged and ready to work.
Battery is completely discharged. Activate the battery. Place the robot in the charging station manually, then disconnect it after 3 minutes. Repeat this 3 times and allow the battery to charge normally.
Robot gets stuck during cleaning. Robot is stuck in a tight space, and objects like cables, curtains, or rugs have gotten into the brushes. The robot automatically tries to free itself if it cannot overcome the obstacle.
Robot interrupts cleaning and returns to the charging station prematurely. At low battery level, the robot automatically switches to charging mode and returns to the charging station. This is normal; let the robot charge fully and resume cleaning.
Operating time varies depending on floor surface, room shape, and selected cleaning mode. This is normal; no action is required.
Robot is turned off or battery level is low. Turn on the robot and charge the battery.
Scheduled cleaning was not saved in the robot's memory. Re-enter the day and time into the robot's memory and ensure it is charged.
Robot is blocked. Turn off the robot and clean it.
Remote control is not working (its range is 5 meters). Low battery in the remote control. Replace batteries, remembering correct polarity.
Robot is not turned on, and the battery is not sufficiently charged to start cleaning. Ensure the robot is turned on and charge the battery.
Robot's or remote's infrared sensor is dirty. Clean the remote control and the robot.
Interference between the remote and the robot. Do not use near other infrared devices.

If the problem persists, check if the battery is fully charged. If so, turn off the robot using the main switch and turn it back on.
