Safety Notice
Class III Symbol
A Class III appliance is designed to be supplied from a separate/safety extra-low voltage (SELV) power source. The voltage from a SELV supply is low enough that under normal conditions a person can safely come into contact with it, without the risk of electrical shock. The extra safety features built into Class I and Class II appliances are, therefore, not required. For medical devices, compliance with Class III is not considered sufficient protection, and further more-stringent regulations apply to such equipment.

Features
The PowerBolt
LED Indicator
Solid Color: Indicates whole voltage value (e.g., Solid green indicates 10V).
Blinking Color: Indicates half increment (e.g., Flashing green indicates 10.5V).
Battery Level Check
Press and hold the [power button] until the light turns white. A blinking colored light indicates remaining charge.
Note: The LED flashes while the battery charges. Once the charge is below 15%, the red light will blink alternately with the voltage.
Charge Level Indicators:
- 100-98%: White
- 97-60%: Green
- 59-40%: Yellow
- 39-15%: Red
- 14-0%: Red blinking
Working with Modes
Modes are activated by pressing and releasing the [power button].
Bluetooth
To activate pairing mode: Hold the [power button] until a blue light appears, then immediately release. A blue blinking light indicates pairing mode is available for 60 seconds. To deactivate Bluetooth, hold the [power button] and release when the yellow light flashes.
Travel Mode (Shutdown)
To activate: Press and hold the [power button] until the red light flashes. This mode is for avoiding unnecessary discharge or complying with travel laws. To reactivate, connect or disconnect to a USB-C port.
Reset (Factory Settings)
If abnormal behavior occurs, hold the [power button] and the [voltage down arrow] simultaneously, then quickly release.
Device reset: [power button] + [voltage down arrow]
Detaching the PowerBolt
The PowerBolt is compatible with the Spektra Flux and the EXO tattoo machines.
To detach:
- Ensure a firm grip on the machine's body and the PowerBolt's grip.
- Turn the PowerBolt counter-clockwise and pull it out.
To attach:
- Push the PowerBolt in while twisting clockwise.
- Ensure the lock mechanism moves freely.
Important: The PowerBolt must sit correctly to ensure power leads align properly. Avoid contact with the PowerBolt leads while recharging or servicing.
eGive
eGive Adjustment
This feature allows control over the "give" or resistance of the needle upon impact with the skin. This enables artists to achieve specific results based on the softness or hardness of the hit. Setting 0 provides no effect, while setting 5 offers the maximum amount of eGive.
How to Check the Current eGive Setting
1. Hold down the [power button] until the light changes from white to solid blue.
2. Release the [power button].
3. The following blinking color of the LED indicates the current eGive setting:
- White blink: Lowest Give (0)
- Yellow blink: Level 1 eGive
- Orange blink: Level 2 eGive
- Red blink: Level 3 eGive
- Pink blink: Level 4 eGive
- Green blink: Level 5 eGive (softest setting)
Changing eGive
To raise or lower the give:
- Hold down the [power button] until the light changes from white to solid blue.
- Release the [power button].
- Immediately use the [voltage up arrow] or [voltage down arrow] to change the eGive level. The LED colors will update accordingly.
eGive Levels:
- White: eGive of 0
- Yellow: Level 1 eGive
- Orange: Level 2 eGive
- Red: Level 3 eGive
- Pink: Level 4 eGive
- Green: Level 5 eGive (softest setting)
Additional Information
Voltage Parameters
While voltage is a parameter that varies among artists, the PowerBolt has been tested to operate at a minimum voltage of around 5-Volts with a maximum voltage of 12-Volts. Artists can adjust the voltage to achieve desired performance based on their needle configuration or brand. Note that some machines require a minimum voltage to operate correctly; consult your machine manufacturer's requirements.
