Status Indicator Guide

• Blue On: Connected/Normal
• Blue Blinks: The camera is connected for video playback.
• Green Blinks: Network error/waiting for connection and configuration.
• Green On: The device has been reset/is rebooting.
• Red Blinks: The device software is being upgraded.

Basic Specifications

Download APP and Configure Software

Before using the device, please complete user registration by downloading the SUNMI Assistant app. You can search for it on Tencent Appstore/SUNMI App Store or scan the QR code (QR code excluded from output).

1. After downloading SUNMI Assistant, register and log in. Click "Device" on the bottom page.
2. Click "Add a Device" and select "Face Sense Camera".
3. Follow the on-app tips to complete the device network setting. The app will guide you through setup steps like "开始设置" (Start Setup), "正在设置您的摄像机" (Setting up your camera), and "摄像机设置完成" (Camera setup complete).
4. Install the device following the "Installation Guide". After installation, proceed to image adjustment or click "Image Adjustment" in the IPC Settings page of the App to position the store doorsill. This step is crucial for accurate customer visit counting.
• Face Focusing: Ask a helper to stand at the central point of the doorsill. Click "Image Adjustment" in the App to enter the face focusing page. Follow the instructions, drag the facial recognition box to fit the face, and use the '+' and '-' buttons on the screen to adjust the focal length.
• Line Positioning: Click "Next" to move to the line positioning page. Click the two bottom ends of the doorsill on the image to position the line. Ensure the line on the image represents the actual door width. The instruction text reads: "Move the bottom two ends to keep the line as wide as the door frame."
5. Log in to https://store.sunmi.com via a computer browser to access more IPC settings and SUNMI application services.

Installation Guide

This device can be wall-mounted or installed on a ceiling, depending on the store layout.

Installation Steps:

1. Insert TF Card: A TF card (purchased separately) is required. Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it reaches the end, following the indicated direction.
2. Select Installation Location (Ceiling Example):
   • The camera should be installed on the central axis of the store entrance/exit.
   • The distance between the camera and the entrance/exit should be between 1.7m and 3.5m to ensure data accuracy.
   • The installation height should be between 2.2m and 2.9m.
   • The optimal angle between an inclined camera and the vertical line is 10°. An angle within 15° is recommended. Adjust the angle based on the monitoring image.
   • The camera should aim at the central axis of the entrance/exit.

3. Fix the Bracket: Place the screw positioning label on the chosen location. Punch an initial hole according to the label, insert a plastic expansion tube, and secure the bracket to the ceiling using tapping screws.
4. Install the Camera: Screw the camera and base into place. Connect the necessary cables, including the power cable and network cable.
