How to Use
Installing a MicroSD Card
CAUTION: Unplug the camera before installing or removing the microSD card.
- Open the waterproof cover above the microSD card slot.
- Insert a microSD card (max 256 GB, FAT32 format only) with contact points facing down.
- Ensure the card is from a qualified brand and has a read/write speed of at least U1/Class 10.
- Re-attach the waterproof cover securely to prevent water ingress.
Note: The microSD card may need to be formatted to FAT32 via the Xiaomi Home app settings.
Turning On
Connect the power adapter cable to the camera's power port (?). The camera will turn on automatically.
The camera is successfully turned on when the indicator light (?) is yellow and a voice prompt is heard.
Notes: Use the original power adapter cable. Do not force the lens to rotate after power-on. Calibrate lens position via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app if needed.
Indicator Status Description
- Yellow (?): Awaiting connection...
- Blinking yellow: Connecting to a network...
- Blinking blue: Connecting to a server...

Connecting with the Xiaomi Home App
This product works with the Xiaomi Home app. Scan the QR code (not provided here) or search for "Xiaomi Home" in your app store to download and install it.
- Open the Xiaomi Home app.
- Tap the "+" icon (➕) in the upper right corner.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.
Note: Ensure the camera is on and the network connection is stable during setup. The indicator will turn blue upon successful connection.
Resetting
Press the reset button (⚙️) if you need to change the network or the Xiaomi Account connected to the camera. A voice prompt will confirm completion.
Note: Resetting the camera does not delete data on the microSD card.
Precautions
- Operating Temperature: -30°C to 60°C. Do not use outside this range.
- Durability: IP66 dust-tight and water-resistant rating. Avoid extremely humid environments or locations prone to water ingress.
- Power Adapter: Not waterproof, for indoor use only. Operating temperature: -30°C to 45°C.
- Placement: Avoid placing the lens facing or near reflective surfaces (glass, white walls) to prevent image distortion (overly bright/dark areas, white images).
- Wi-Fi Signal: Install in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal. Avoid proximity to microwave ovens or other signal-interfering objects.
- Power Cable: If damaged, it must be replaced by qualified professionals to avoid safety hazards.
How to Install

Mounting the Camera on a Wall
- Turn the camera base up, align it with the locating points on the mount, and screw into the holes.
- Paste the mounting template sticker where the camera needs to be installed. Drill four holes (approx. 6 mm diameter, 40 mm depth) according to the template.
- Insert four plastic wall plugs into the drilled holes.
- Place the mount against the wall, insert screws into the holes, and drill them into the wall plugs.
- After fixing the camera, wrap the power cable port with the waterproof tape to ensure waterproof performance.
CAUTIONS:
- The wall must support at least three times the total weight of the camera.
- Ensure the camera is firmly fixed to prevent accidental injury.
- Do not install near heat sources like air conditioner outdoor units, range hood outlets, or gas water heater outlets.
