Introduction
The RAKOSO SA100 is a class D digital amplifier designed for the installation market. It can power traditional passive speakers and enables smart audio system control via free iOS and Android applications. Users can stream music from online services like Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, TuneIn, and iHeartRadio, or from mobile devices, NAS storage, USB drives, or direct input from other devices. Multiple SA100 units can be grouped for a multiroom system, allowing synchronized playback of the same music across all zones or different music to different devices, all controllable through the mobile application.

Interface and Functions
Front Panel:
- 1. WIFI ANT: Antenna for WiFi connection.
- 2. Reset: Short press to reset network settings; long press for factory reset.
- 3. Line in R: Right channel audio input.
- 4. Line in L: Left channel audio input.
- 5. SW Out: Audio output for connecting an active subwoofer.
- 6. OPT in: Optical digital audio input.
- 7. LAN: RJ45 LAN network port.
- 8. USB: Used to connect a USB disk drive.
- 9. Load Switch: Switch to select between 4/8Ω load. **Unplug power before switching.**
- 10. Speaker Output: Connects 4-8Ω speakers via phoenix connector.
- 11. BT ANT: Antenna for Bluetooth connection.
- 12. DC in: Used to connect the power adapter.
LED Indicator (13):
- Blinking white: Power on or searching for network.
- Solid white: Network connected.
- Solid blue: Bluetooth mode.
- Solid red: USB mode.
- Solid green: Line input mode.
- Solid purple: Optical input mode.
Rear Panel Controls:
- 14. USB Audio: Connect to PC for direct music streaming. Use ACPWorkbench audio tuning tool (sold separately).
- 15. PRE Out: Audio output for analog signal to another device.
- 16. Volume: Adjusts maximum volume; press to change audio input mode.
- 17. Treble: Adjusts treble; press to reset to default value.
- 18. Bass: Adjusts bass; press to reset to default value.
How it Works
The SA100 connects to the internet via a Homer Network Router. It can stream music from online services, mobile devices, NAS storage, or USB drives. The SoundSystem Application allows control of the SA100.

Installation Guide
- Unpack: Verify all accessories are included.
- Place: Mount the amplifier in a safe and proper location. An integrated mounting bracket allows wall or surface mounting. It is recommended to complete all installation steps before permanent mounting.
- Connect: Follow the Speaker Wiring Diagrams. The SA100 can handle speakers from 4-8 ohms impedance.

Speaker Wire Connection: Properly connect the male phoenix connectors, ensuring positive and negative terminals match your speakers. Ensure correct speaker impedance is used.
Power Connection: Connect the amplifier to the power adapter included in the accessories.

Download the App
Download the 4Stream application from the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
First Time Usage & BLE WiFi Setup
- Hold the RESET button, then plug in the power cable.
- The LED light will flash, then release the button and wait for it to flash slowly.
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to your 2.4G home network, with GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
- Open the 4Stream APP. For Android devices, grant GPS and File storage permissions for BLE usage. These can be disabled later in system settings. File storage permission allows access to your mobile's MP3 files.
- The 4Stream APP will list available devices; select the one you want to set up.
- Choose the network you want the device to connect to.
- Enter the network password.
- The device will automatically check for updates upon connection.
- You can rename the device, selecting a preset name or entering your own.
- Once named, the device will appear in the 4Stream app's device list, and you can start streaming music.
Note: If your router changes or its password is changed, short press the RESET button in WiFi mode to reset the connection. Holding the RESET button while plugging in the power forces the device into WiFi mode; it will auto-connect to a previously set up router.
Alternative WiFi Setup
- Hold the RESET button, then plug in the power cable.
- The LED light will flash, then release the button and wait for it to flash slowly.
- Go to your mobile WiFi settings, search for "SoundSystem_xxxx" WiFi, and connect.
- If "SoundSystem" is not found, long press the RESET button for 5 seconds and refresh your mobile's WiFi list.
- Open the 4Stream APP. Choose between Direct Mode (for no router) or Add Device.
- Direct Mode: Connect directly to the SA100 to play music stored on your mobile.
- Add Device: Select your router's SSID, enter the password if required, and continue.
- Rename the device as desired.
- The device will appear in the 4Stream app's device list for music streaming.
Connection via LAN
- Power on the device.
- Connect the RJ45 Ethernet cable. The device will appear on the app within approximately 10 seconds.
Connection via Bluetooth
Switch to Bluetooth mode and pair with the "SoundSystem_XXXX" Bluetooth device from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
4Stream Mobile Application: Playback
After setup, your device will be listed in the 4Stream APP. Swipe left to select a music source and play. The playback screen allows play/pause, switching songs, and volume control. You can also add music to favorite or playback lists.

Multiroom Functionality: Combine zones by dragging one zone onto another in the app to play the same source simultaneously. To separate zones, drag a zone below a dotted line.

Streaming from Mobile Phone/NAS/Online Music Services
Access local music via "My Music" on your phone or NAS. Online music services are listed in the middle, with Bluetooth, Line in, and Optical in options at the bottom. Up to 10 songs or stations can be preset for easy access via the device settings.

Device Settings
Access device settings via the settings icon on the device list. Options include renaming the device, viewing technical information, managing preset stations, setting alarms, sleep timers, and EQ settings.

Firmware Update
The SA100 app will notify you of new firmware versions. Updating firmware is recommended to fix bugs, improve security, and gain new features.

- A: Yes. They support airplay and third-party apps like Foobar 2000, MusicBee.

- A: 12 rooms is the maximum, while 8 zones are recommended.

- A: Once the system is connected to your WiFi router, you can stream your music anywhere there is a WiFi signal.

- A: Yes. Our devices can play APE and FLAC within the normal bit rate range. They also support decoding 24bit/192kHz music files.

- A: Our devices will auto-detect your mobile device language and change automatically. Currently, we support English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean and Japanese and more on the way.
- Q: What online music services do you support?
- A: Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, iHeartRadio, Tuneln, internet radio, Napster, and more to come.
- Q: Can I play local music?
- A: Yes. You can play music from “MY MUSIC" on the application from local storage devices such as mobile phone, USB disk drive and NAS.
- Q: Can SA100 work with Windows devices?
- A: The Windows application is not available at the moment, but on the Windows PC, users can use iTunes, Foobar2000 and Spotify connect.
