Assembly Guidance

Assembly Steps

1. Step 1: Attach Casters

   Insert the 5 casters (parts 10095995, 10109505) into the sockets on the chair base. Push firmly until they are fully seated and click into place. Ensure correct insertion (indicated by a checkmark icon) and avoid incorrect insertion (indicated by a cross icon).

2. Step 2: Insert Gas Lift Cylinder

   Remove the protective cap from the gas lift cylinder (it can be recycled ♻️). Insert the cylinder into the center hole of the chair base.

3. Step 3: Connect Base and Gas Lift

   Place the assembled chair base with casters and gas lift onto a flat surface.

4. Step 4: Attach Seat Mechanism

   Align the seat mechanism (part 121030) with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat. Use the Allen key (part 124345) and 4 screws (parts 152546, 152545) to secure the mechanism. Ensure the mechanism is oriented correctly as shown in the diagram.

5. Step 5: Secure Seat Mechanism

   Align the seat mechanism with the seat and press down firmly. You should hear a "Click!" sound as it locks into place at multiple points.

6. Step 6: Attach Backrest

   Place the seat assembly on a stable surface (e.g., a table). Align the backrest with the attachment points on the seat mechanism. Use the Allen key (part 124345) and 4 screws (parts 122900, 159026) to attach the backrest securely.

7. Step 7: Attach Armrests

   Align the armrests with the designated slots on the sides of the seat mechanism. Push them into place until they are securely attached.

8. Step 8: Connect Seat Assembly to Base

   Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest unit onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. Ensure it is seated correctly. Secure the seat mechanism to the seat using 2 screws (parts 10113580, 10113616) and the Allen key (part 124345).

Chair Adjustments and Features

1. Seat Height Adjustment

   To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located under the seat upwards while seated or standing. Release the lever at the desired height.

2. Backrest Tilt and Lock

   The backrest can be tilted. Use the lever near the base to lock the backrest in a desired upright position or unlock it for free tilt.

3. Armrest Adjustments

   • Height: Press the button on the armrest and move it up or down to the desired height.
   • Width: Move the armrests inwards or outwards to adjust the width.
   • Pivot: Rotate the armrests inwards or outwards to adjust their angle.

4. Seat Depth Adjustment

   Pull the lever under the seat to slide the seat forward or backward to your preferred depth.

5. Lumbar Support Adjustment

   Adjust the lumbar support by sliding the padded section up or down on the backrest to find optimal lower back support.

Important Safety Information

⚠️ Energy Accumulators: Components for seat height adjustment contain energy accumulators. Only trained and qualified personnel are permitted to replace or repair these components. This warning is provided in multiple languages within the original documentation.

Safety Castors

The chair is equipped with safety castors that automatically brake when no one is sitting in the chair. This feature prevents the chair from rolling away unexpectedly when you stand up, ensuring it remains in the position where you left it.

Cleaning and Upholstery Care

Refer to specific care instructions for the upholstery material. Some components, like the seat cushion cover, may be removable for cleaning or replacement.

1. Seat Cushion Removal

   Lift the seat cushion off the chair base.

2. Fabric Detachment

   Carefully detach the fabric from the underside of the seat cushion. This may involve unfastening clips, Velcro, or other securing mechanisms.

3. Armrest Removal/Attachment

   To remove armrests, press the release button and pull the armrest away. To reattach, align and push until it clicks into place.

4. Armrest Cover Attachment

   Attach any armrest covers by aligning them and pressing them firmly into position.

5. Fabric Reattachment

   Reattach the fabric to the underside of the seat cushion, ensuring it is smooth, taut, and securely fastened.

6. Seat Cushion Reattachment

   Place the seat cushion back onto the chair base, ensuring it is correctly aligned and seated.
