Product Description
The Juno JCLR6L and JCLR6S are energy-efficient LED retrofit modules designed for commercial recessed incandescent, CFL, or H.I.D. rough-in sections. They are suitable for use in installations where insulation is present, provided the insulation is pulled back 3 inches from all sides of the retrofit. These modules replace CFL lamps totaling 42W or greater, delivering up to 2400 lumens at 27.5W. They offer dimmable functionality and are designed for a long lifespan of 50,000 hours, backed by a 5-year warranty.
Product Specifications
LED Downlight Retrofit Trim
Features a spun aluminum reflector and a separate non-metallic trim ring with a shadow-free, knife-edge design. The all-in-one design integrates the LED light engine directly to the trim. A quick disconnect in the junction box allows for easy wiring of the retrofit conduit whip assembly without reflector interference. The unit includes a conduit whip and connector for mounting to a 1/2" trade size knockout in the junction box, facilitating installation into existing rough-in sections. Spring steel friction clips are provided for mounting.
LED Light Engine
The replaceable light engine is mounted directly to the aluminum trim, ensuring superior thermal management for extended life. LEDs are binned within a 3-step MacAdam Ellipse, exceeding ENERGY STAR® requirements for excellent fixture-to-fixture color uniformity. Available color temperatures include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K, with a minimum of 80 or 90 CRI.
LED Driver
Offers a choice of a dedicated 120-volt driver, a universal voltage driver (120-277 volts AC at 50/60Hz), or a 347V driver. The power factor is greater than 0.9 at 120V input. The 120-volt driver is dimmable with most incandescent, magnetic low voltage, and electronic low voltage wall box dimmers. The universal voltage and 347V drivers are dimmable with most 0-10V wall dimmers. For a list of compatible dimmers, refer to JUNOJCLR-DIM.
Electrical Connections
The trim includes a conduit whip and connector designed to attach directly to a 1/2" trade size knockout in the junction box. All necessary electrical connectors and hardware are provided for straightforward installation after removing existing fluorescent sockets and ballasts from rough-in sections.
Trim
Constructed with spun aluminum, available in white or haze finishes. Features a deeply regressed diffusing lens that conceals the LEDs from direct view.
Life and Labels
Rated for 50,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance. Certified ENERGY STAR® and classified UL and cUL for use with most standard UL listed 6" non-IC commercial rough-in sections. Suitable for damp locations.

Dimensions
The JCLR6L and JCLR6S retrofit trims are designed for 6-inch commercial recessed open frame rough-in sections with a ceiling thickness ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 1/8 inch. The rough-in section inside diameter compatibility ranges are:
- JCLR6S: 6" to 6 1/2"
- JCLR6L: 6 5/8" to 7 1/8"
