All MOTOTRBO devices purchased from Motorola Solutions include standard eligibility for software updates, technical support, and hardware repair. Optional service packages are available to provide extended and enhanced protection, including coverage for accidental damage and wear and tear, to maintain your radio fleet at optimal levels.

Hardware repair (manufacturing defects)
Manufacturing defect repair covers any failed MOTOTRBO radios caused by a manufacturing issue. Repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards by trained technicians at Motorola Solutions' central repair facility.
Hardware repair including wear and tear
Extended cover allows repair of both manufacturing defects and normal wear and tear.
Hardware repair including accidental damage
Ultimate hardware cover allows repair of manufacturing defects, normal wear and tear, and accidental damage, providing complete peace of mind for your radio fleet.
Software updates
Motorola Solutions continuously innovates, releasing new features through certified and tested software. Benefit from these updates and enhancements, plus the latest cybersecurity updates, with access to the newest software versions for your radio.
Remote technical support
Experienced technologists are available to help isolate and resolve issues with MOTOTRBO radios. With an extensive knowledge base, trained and certified technical engineers, and leading escalation procedures, this team can troubleshoot and provide resolutions for a wide range of technical issues.
Device maintenance
MOTOTRBO radios can be programmed to alert users to upcoming maintenance events, enabling proactive fleet maintenance. The preventive maintenance alert (part number HKVN4943) prompts users to schedule regular service checks. An SMA alert notifies users when their service agreement is approaching its end, and a battery alert warns when the radio's battery is nearing the end of its serviceable life.
