Danfoss Icon™ Wireless Room Thermostat

Installation

Adding the Danfoss Icon™ room thermostat to the Danfoss Link™ system is performed using the Danfoss Link™ CC control unit. For further information, please refer to the Danfoss Link™ CC control unit installation manual.

Insert the thermostat into the Link™ system according to the instructions on the Danfoss Link™ CC control unit screen. When prompted, touch the Icon thermostat screen to enter pairing mode. In pairing mode, the thermostat screen will display a moving pattern, as shown in the illustration below:

Upon successful pairing, a checkmark symbol ✔️ will appear on the thermostat. Pressing the checkmark symbol will exit pairing mode.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Battery Installation

Step 2: Mounting the Backplate

Wireless Considerations

Range: The thermostat has a maximum wireless range of 6 meters (approx. 20 feet) from the Living Connect® unit. [Icon: Signal waves ?]

Placement: Ensure a minimum distance of 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) from doors and windows. The illustration shows a target temperature of 20°.

Menu Navigation

Wake up the thermostat. Touch and hold the button to open the menu.

You can navigate through or confirm menu items using the button. Pressing the button will return you to the previous menu.
