This section provides initial setup guidance for your Lenovo ThinkPad laptop.
Connecting Adapters
The following adapters may be used for connecting external displays:

Lenovo Commercial Vantage
Use Lenovo Commercial Vantage to adjust device settings and check for system updates [settings icon].

Lenovo View
Lenovo View offers several enhancements:
- Video Enhancer: Improves video quality [video icon].

- Posture Warning: Alerts you to maintain proper posture while using the laptop [person icon with posture warning].
Connecting to Networks
Connecting to any wireless network will increase the product's energy consumption.
Wi-Fi Connection
- Click the quick settings area on the taskbar [settings icon].
- For Wi-Fi settings, click the right arrow to see available networks [arrow icon].
- Select a network and provide necessary information to connect.
Clicking the Wi-Fi icon again will disconnect the network.
Cellular Network Connection (for selected models)
To connect to a 4G or 5G cellular data network, ensure you have a WWAN card, a SIM card, or an installed eSIM profile.
- Click the network icon [network icon].
- Select the cellular network icon from the list.
- Provide necessary information to connect.
Clicking the cellular network icon again will disconnect the network.
Important Power Note
Disabling the operating system's sleep setting will result in higher energy consumption. It is recommended to keep the sleep setting enabled to automatically switch the product into standby mode.

Note: Not all wireless modes/bands may be enabled depending on your product configuration. Usage of this device is limited to indoor locations in the bands 5150 - 5350 MHz and 5945 - 6425 MHz.
