my BERNINA Accessories APP Quick Start Guide for Android
What is it?
A digital wallet card designed to help users learn about and keep track of BERNINA presser feet and accessories that they own and want.
What does it do?
- Browse accessories.
- Learn key features of each accessory.
- View a video of the accessory (if available).
- Search for an accessory by name, number, technique, or keyword.
- Keep track of accessories you OWN.
- Keep track of accessories you WANT.
- Share your Wish List via email.
- Learn about the latest accessories available, promotions, and new products.
- Find out which accessories fit your BERNINA machines (for models made since 1997).
Easy to use!
Most functionality within the app can be accessed in several ways, allowing users to navigate easily.

Follow these steps to get the most out of your new my BERNINA Accessories App!
Screenshots shown are from an Android phone (4.x or newer), but this guide is also applicable to Android-based tablets, including Kindle Fire (2nd generation).
1 Record your Model
- Touch the sewing machine icon on the Home Screen, then select your machine model(s).
- Once selected, a green checkmark will appear.
- When you revisit this screen, the selected models will "float" to the top of the list.

2 Browse
- Accessories are listed in numerical then alphabetical order.
- Touch the Search bar and enter a foot number, name, keyword, or technique.
- Touch an accessory on the list to learn more.
- Accessories that do not have a number appear at the bottom of the list.

3 Detail Screen
- View an accessory photo.
- Learn key features of the accessory.
- See if this foot fits your BERNINA machine.
- Watch a video (if available) about the accessory.
- Touch Own to add the item to your Own List.
- Touch Want to add the item to your Wish List.
- Touch Want or Own again to REMOVE the accessory from your list (the button acts as a toggle).
- Touch the back arrow on your device to return to the full list.

4 Own List
- Keep track of accessories you Own.
- Touch the Own icon (a box with a checkmark) from the Home Screen.
- Alternatively, touch the Own button at the top of the Browse Accessories screen.
- All Owned items will appear on the list and can be searched.

5 Wish List
- Keep track of the accessories you want.
- Touch the Wish List icon (a heart) from the Home Screen.
- Alternatively, touch the Want button at the top of the Browse Accessories screen.
- All Wish List items will show onscreen and can be searched.

6 Compatible
- Touch the Compatible button at the top of the Browse Accessories screen.
- All accessories that are compatible with one or more of your recorded BERNINA models will show on this list.
- Touch an accessory on the Compatible list to learn more.

- Scroll to the bottom of the Accessory Detail screen to see which model(s) this foot is compatible with.

7 Share
- Touch the Share Wish List icon from the Home Screen.
- Touch the email button from the popup window; this will open the email client on your device.
- Enter a contact email address in the 'To' area, and then touch 'Send'.

8 What's New
- Touch the What's New (starburst) icon from the Home Screen or Action Bar.
- A browser window will open to a web page containing information on new accessories, promotions, and educational materials.
- Newest content will appear at the top of the list.
