Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 Vision Installation Guide
This guide provides detailed instructions for installing the Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 Vision CPU cooler.

Note: Please remove the protective sticker from the heatsink base before installation.
Installation Instructions
AMD AM4/AM5 Installation
Steps:
- Remove motherboard stock plastic brackets, keep the stock backplate.
- Put AM4 plastic spacers (H) onto backplate screw threads.
- Fix both brackets (D) on spacers using AMD screws (F).
- Apply thermal paste (J) on CPU IHS.
- Place heatsink (A) onto the CPU and align nuts to screw threads on brackets.
- Gently tighten both nuts with a screwdriver.
- Install fan(s) (B/B1) with fan clips (K), paying attention to airflow direction.
- Align LCD cover (N) position to heatsink screws and place it on top.
INTEL LGA115X/1200 Installation
Steps:
- Push slider on backplate (C) to 115X hole position.
- Install backplate from the back side of the motherboard.
- Put 115X/1200 spacers (G) onto backplate screw threads.
- Fix both brackets (D) on spacers with Intel screws (E).
- Apply thermal paste (J) on CPU IHS.
- Place heatsink (A) onto the CPU and align nuts to screw threads on brackets.
- Gently tighten both nuts with a screwdriver.
- Install fan(s) (B/B1) with fan clips (K), paying attention to airflow direction.
- Align LCD cover (N) position to heatsink screws and place it on top.
INTEL LGA1700/1851 Installation
Steps:
- Pull slider on backplate (C) to 1700 hole position.
- Install backplate from the back side of the motherboard.
- Put 1700 spacers (M) onto backplate screw threads.
- Fix both brackets (D) on spacers with Intel screws (E).
- Apply thermal paste (J) on CPU IHS.
- Place heatsink (A) onto the CPU and align nuts to screw threads on brackets.
- Gently tighten both nuts with a screwdriver.
- Install fan(s) (B/B1) with fan clips (K), paying attention to airflow direction.
- Align LCD cover (N) position to heatsink screws and place it on top.
Fan Wiring
Connect the fan's 4-pin PWM connector to the fan sync header. Then, connect the 4-pin header to the motherboard's CPU FAN socket for power and speed control. ⚙️
For fans with Addressable-RGB lighting, connect the 3-Pin ARGB lighting header to the motherboard's 3-Pin +5V ARGB lighting socket to control lighting effects. ?
LCD Screen Wiring and Software
Wiring:
- The LCD screen is powered by connecting the SATA power connector.
- Data communication is transmitted via the motherboard's 9-pin USB connector.
Software Installation:
- Ensure all connections are complete before installing the software.
- Download the TRCC software from the official Thermalright website: https://www.thermalright.com/support/download/
- Unzip the setup file and double-click the installer to begin the installation.
- After installation, double-click the software shortcut icon on your desktop to run the application.
- All functions for the LCD screen, including real-time data monitoring and control, are managed by the software. The software is set to auto-start with the OS and run in the background. Please do not close or force quit the program.
