Siemens VNT-PS Installation Instructions

Power Supply for VNT

Introduction

The Siemens VNT-PS is designed to isolate the ground of the Virtual Network Tunnel (VNT) from the FireFinder-XLS system ground.

Installation and Mounting

Safety First: Always remove all system power before installation, starting with the battery, then AC. To power up, connect AC first, then the battery.

The VNT-PS unit mounts using an attached bracket onto the VNT-MP. Loosen the nuts on the left side of the VNT, slide the VNT-PS bracket's slots onto the studs, and then tighten the nuts to secure it.

Wiring and Electrical Ratings

Typical wiring configurations for the VNT-PS to the VNT are illustrated in the document's diagrams.

Electrical Specifications:

This power supply is specifically intended for use with the PSC-12 (P/N 500-033340) and VNT (P/N 500-650490).
