I. Safety Guidelines

1. Mandatory

Read all safety and other instructions thoroughly before using your Mcombo® product. Failure to follow guidelines and warnings can result in personal injury or product damage and will void the warranty. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Danger

  • Keep plastic bags away from children to prevent suffocation.
  • Do not allow children to play on or near the chair when in use, as serious injury or death could occur if a child is under the chair while it is in motion.
  • Keep cords out of reach of small children and avoid using them where they could be a trip hazard.
  • Plug directly into a wall outlet; do not use an extension cord or adapter.
  • Do not use the product if it is wet, in water, or around water or any liquid.
  • Always leave the chair in an upright and closed position. Keep hands and feet clear of the mechanism and all moving parts. The footrest must be completely closed before getting in or out of the chair. Only the occupant should operate the chair.
  • Before moving or troubleshooting, unplug power cords from the outlet and secure the mechanism to prevent unexpected movement.

3. Warning

  • Weight Capacity: 320 lbs.
  • For INDOOR USE ONLY.
  • To avoid tip-over, do not put your weight against the back of the chair.
  • Do not stand, sit, or place extra weight on the arms, back, or open footrest.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged. Do not use attachments or substitute parts.
  • Avoid exposing the upholstered chair to burning cigarettes or cigars, open flames, and high temperatures.
  • Do not operate the unit until the back is installed and locked.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the actuator or pump; there are no serviceable parts inside.
  • Do not allow the electrical cord to be pinched between moving parts or between the frame and the floor. Do not place the cord under carpet or in a location where it could become worn.
  • Do not attempt to disconnect the power plug by pulling the power cord; always hold the plug and pull it out.
  • Closely supervise children and disabled persons using this product.
  • To reduce the risk of head entrapment and other injuries, keep children and pets away from openings and moving parts.

  • Place tables and area rugs at a distance to allow the footrest to fully extend without rubbing or interference.
  • Periodically check the condition of power supplies, electrical cords, plugs, and connectors. Keep them away from heat sources. Never operate the unit with a damaged power supply, cord, plug, or connector.
  • Do not charge devices into the USB charge ports for more than 24 hours.
  • Do not charge any devices over 5V/2A with the USB charge ports.

  • Box 5: K - Plastic Cover Screws x2, L - Console Backrest x1, M - Console Backrest x1

3. Assembly Steps

Step 1 - Bases Assembly

  1. Use steel sheet (Part #G) to connect two seat bases (Part #A & #B) and the Storage Console.
  2. When installing the steel sheets (Part #G), lightly tighten the screws (Part #H) first. Keep the steel sheets horizontal. Finally, tighten all screws (Part #H) once both steel sheets are installed.

Connect the right base and Console Backrest first.

ATTENTION: Part G needs to be installed on the iron frame, not under it.

Connections:

  • H (Screws & Washers) x4
  • J (Base Feet) x2
  • H (Screws & Washers) x2
  • H (Screws & Washers) x2

Step 2 - Armrests Assembly

  1. Align the brackets of the armrest with the brackets of the seat-base.
  2. Push the brackets firmly into the seat-base. Listen for a "click" on each side to ensure the armrest is locked properly.

Diagram shows Left Armrest and Right Armrest being attached.

Step 3 - Backrests Assembly

  1. Connect the Storage Console (Part #L) to the Console Backrest (Part #M) using Plastic Cover Screws (Part #K).
  2. Align the brackets of the backrest with the clips of the seat-back.
  3. Push the brackets firmly into the seat-back. Listen for a "click" on each side to ensure the backrest is locked properly.

ATTENTION: Unzip the zipper behind the console, then put the console backrest on the console and align the holes.

ATTENTION: Fix them with two plastic cover screws. This step does not require tools, but you need to tighten the screws longer because the screw holes are relatively deep.

Diagram shows backrests E1 and E2 being attached to the console.

Step 4 - Connections

Connect the recliner sofas according to the following wiring diagram.

Wiring Specification:
  • Headrest
  • Power Reclining
  • LED
  • USB & Buttons

ATTENTION: Please use the plastic clip to organize the cords.

Step 5 - Paste Velcro

  1. Place the chair in the reclined position.
  2. Pull out the Velcro in the gap between the base and the backrest and paste it well.

Step 6 - Final Check

  1. Ensure both metal brackets on each armrest are mounted on the base. (There are two metal brackets on each side of the base; it may seem like assembly is finished when the armrest inserts into only one bracket, but all pressure will apply to one bracket, which is why armrests can fall apart.)
  2. Ensure the backrest inserts are locked to the base.
  3. Ensure all wires are connected tightly.
  4. Ensure all wires are not placed at the bottom of the rack and will not be pressed by the frame. (If a wire is pressed by the frame, it will break, and the chair will stop working.)

Your Mcombo product will provide years of superior performance with regular care and maintenance. Follow these guidelines and cleaning procedures.

Notice:
  • Do not place your chair in direct sunlight, as sunlight causes fading.
  • Do not smoke cigarettes while seated in or using your chair.
  • Avoid extreme temperature changes by arranging the chair away from radiators, heat, and air vents.
  • Do not use solvent-type cleaners for spot cleaning.
  • Do not saturate fabric.
  • Be careful that pet scratches may cause fabric or leather to break.

1. Fabric Care

  • Inspect the fabric regularly for any pulls, tears, or gaps.
  • Frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a nonmetallic, stiff bristle brush to remove dust and grime is recommended.
  • When liquid spills onto the fabric, immediately wipe off spills with a dry or lightly dampened clean white cloth, sponge, or paper towel.

2. Faux Leather Care

  • Wipe leather down regularly with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
  • For more stubborn dust, dampen the cloth with distilled water, ensuring it is not soaking wet. Never let water soak into the leather.
  • Always use a soft cloth; never use an abrasive brush or scrubber, as this can scratch and damage the leather.

3. Electronics Care

  • Inspect all wiring harnesses to ensure they are not damaged or stuck under the chair.
  • Keep all electronics free from moisture and temperature extremes.
  • Check electrical components frequently for signs of corrosion and replace as necessary.
  • Contact Mcombo Customer Support if damage is present; do not attempt to fix it yourself.

4. Disposal & Recycling

Your power recliner sofa must be disposed of according to applicable local and national statutory disposal regulations. Contact your local waste disposal agency for information on proper disposal of packaging, metal/wood frame components, fabric, and electronic components.
