Set up the Camera
- Connect the camera to power using the included power cable and adapter.
- Connect your phone to a WiFi network and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Search for 'Girafit' in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and download the app. [App Store icon] [Google Play icon]
- In the Girafit APP, select the '+' icon or 'Add New Device'. Follow the in-app instructions to set up the camera. Allow Bluetooth permission when prompted for the app to discover the camera.
During the setup process, the Girafit APP will ask for Bluetooth permission. Please allow it so that your phone can discover the camera.

Mounting the camera
The camera needs to be installed on window glass. Install it according to your viewing preferences, ensuring it is within reach of a power outlet and not too far from the router.
Install on window glass
- Remove the mounting sticker and peel off the protective film.

Using the camera
Live View
- Take a screenshot of the current live view and save it to the Girafit App's album.
- Start a 2-way audio conversation between your phone and the camera.
- Record a video clip of the current live view and save it to the Girafit App's album.
- Switch resolution between HD/SD. Use SD for fluent live view on poor network conditions.
- View playback footage of the camera.
Device Setting
- Manage or format the microSD card and set up a recording schedule.
- Configure general settings such as Notification, Sound, Flipping Screen, Indicator LED status, etc.
- Enable Human Detection to receive alerts only for human-body shapes.
- Adjust detection parameters like sensitivity or set a detection area.
Message Center
- Alert notifications from all cameras. Quickly identify alerts by type, device name, and thumbnail.
- Filter messages by type (motion/human), device name, or camera location.
- View system messages like microSD card malfunctions or camera restarts.
- Select a specific date to search event messages.
- Swipe left to delete a message.
Frequently Asked Questions
I cannot connect the camera to the Internet
Check the following steps:
- Ensure Wi-Fi password or SSID is correct.
- Reset the camera and try again.
- Place the camera as close to the router as possible.
- Ensure the camera is powered on and the indicator is flashing blue before starting connection.
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on your phone and Bluetooth permission is allowed for the Girafit APP.
- If the above steps do not help, contact Girafit technical support via phone, email, or live chat.
What can I do if the camera stopped working?
- Close and restart the Girafit APP.
- Check if the Wi-Fi password or router has changed. If so, reset the camera.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi router is powered on and online.
- Ensure the camera has power.
- Ensure the phone has sufficient network bandwidth.
- Check if the APP is the latest version.
- Try a different power adapter, USB cable, or power outlet.
