Set up the Camera
- Step 1: Connect the camera to power using the included power cable and adapter.
- Step 2: Download the 'Girafit' app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
- Step 3: Connect your phone to a WiFi network and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Step 4: In the Girafit App, select the '+' icon or 'Add New Device' and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the camera.
Note: During setup, the Girafit App will request Bluetooth permission. Please allow this for the app to discover the camera.
Mounting the Camera
The camera can be placed on a table or shelf, or mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a location that meets your viewing requirements, is within reach of a power outlet, and is not too far from your router.
Night Vision Consideration: To prevent infrared reflection that could affect night vision performance, ensure the camera maintains a minimum distance of 0.7ft (0.2m) from any objects or walls.
Install on a Wall
- Mark the screw positions on the wall using the drill template and drill two pilot holes.
- Drill two screws into the wall, leaving a space of approximately 1.5mm.
- Attach the camera base onto the screws to secure the camera.
Using the Camera
Live View
The live view interface allows you to:
- View Live Feed: See the real-time video stream.
- Record Video: Capture a video clip of the current live view and save it to your phone's album.
- Audio Control: Play or mute the audio from the camera.
- Two-Way Audio: Enable communication between your phone and the camera.
- Privacy Mode: Turn privacy mode on or off.
- Siren: Turn the siren on or off.
- Settings Adjustment: Switch resolution, enable full-screen mode, turn the spotlight on/off.
Device Settings
Access 'Device Settings' to configure various camera parameters:
- Wi-Fi Status: Displays Wi-Fi signal strength.

- Smart Detection: Adjust detection parameters like sensitivity or set up a detection area. Options include High, Normal, and Smart Detection.

Message Center
The message center displays alerts and system notifications:

- Alert Notifications: Quickly identify alerts by type, device name, and thumbnail. Swipe left to delete a message.
Storage Options
The Girafit K300S camera offers two storage alternatives:
- Record on a microSD card: Insert a microSD card and format it within the camera's settings menu. This allows the camera to record locally, even if disconnected from the internet.
- Record on Cloud Storage: Subscribe to a cloud storage plan to back up your footage in an encrypted data center. This ensures critical footage is saved even if the camera is stolen or damaged.

I cannot connect the camera to the Internet
- Ensure the Wi-Fi password or SSID is correct.

- Check if the Wi-Fi password or router has been changed. If so, reset the camera.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi router is powered on and online.

- Ensure your phone has sufficient network bandwidth.
- Check if the Girafit App is on the latest version.
- Try a different power adapter, USB cable, or power outlet.
What can I do if the camera keeps getting offline?
- Ensure the camera is not too far from the router.
- Verify your Wi-Fi is working properly by checking other devices.
- Restart your router and wait 2-3 minutes.
- Check if the camera is running the latest firmware.
How to record on microSD card?
- Ensure the microSD card is installed in the correct direction.
- Format the microSD card within the Girafit App to enable recording.
- After formatting, choose to record all-day or by incident only in the 'Manage Storage' menu.
- If the camera does not detect the microSD card, try formatting the card to FAT32 using a PC.
What can I do if I receive too many notifications?
- In the 'Device Setting' menu, adjust the following settings:
- Turn on human detection to receive notifications only for human-shaped objects.
- Adjust the detection sensitivity setting to 'low'.
- Enable the detection area feature to define specific zones for notifications.
