This document provides instructions for the Philips Shaver Series 5000X (Model X5006/07). The shaver is designed for efficient and comfortable shaving.

Getting Started
Charging the Shaver
1. Connect the charging cable to the shaver and a power outlet.
2. Allow the shaver to charge fully before first use (approximately 1 hour).

First Use
Ensure the shaver is fully charged before the first use.
Using the Shaver
Dry Shaving
1. Turn on the shaver by pressing the power button. [power-symbol]
2. Hold the shaver against your skin and move it gently in circular motions.
3. For best results, shave in the direction of hair growth.
Wet Shaving
The Series 5000X can be used with foam or gel, and in the shower.
1. Apply shaving foam or gel to your skin.
2. Shave as described in the dry shaving section.
3. Rinse the shaver head under running water after use.
Using the Trimmer
1. Attach the trimmer to the shaver unit.
2. Use the trimmer to style sideburns or other facial hair.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Shaver Head
1. Detach the shaver head from the unit.
2. Rinse the shaver head under warm running water.
3. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any remaining hair.
4. Allow the shaver head to dry completely before reattaching.
Cleaning the Shaver Unit
Wipe the shaver unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
Storage
Store the shaver in a cool, dry place with the protective cap attached.
Troubleshooting
Shaver not turning on: Ensure the shaver is charged. Check the charging cable and power outlet.
Poor shaving performance: Clean the shaver head. Ensure the shaver is fully charged. Replace shaving heads if worn out (recommended every 12 months).
